This fine reproduction was copied directly from an original in the IMA collection. Features of note include a correct cut, shape, color, genuine leather brim, leather chinstrap, leather sweatband, as well as gold-colored Middlesex regiment buttons, silk-like interior lining and a finely cast steel Middlesex regimental badge (cap badge can be easily replaced or removed). Reproductions of lesser quality are being sold for triple the money.
