Really enjoyed this sincere look at the homesteading life of this talented couple

Bought it as a birthday present. It is really good and beautifully presented.

I watch the programme which generated this book so I find it interesting on many levels, cooking, preserving and cast history.

I got this book as I normally follow the family on the TV. This cookbook is very interesting as not only they have some nice recipes but it is telling you a story about the them. Very nice cookbook.

I was so excited to see this book for sale on amazon. I love the Kilchers and have followed their lives since their programme came on discovery :-) my book arrived yesterday and it's wonderful ... amazing recipes that I'll be able to cook using my own garden produce. There's some lovely family stories about their homestead lives and old family pics too. This is a great book. I'm very excited about it ☺️

Huge fan of this show, so was proper made up to see Eivin and Eve had a cookery book. I hope there will be more to come.

Have loved the tv show 'Alaska, the last frontier', and this cook book is a good compliment to the show.
