One of the best diamond plate's.
Atoma are one of the best diamond sharpening plates out there. This one was the cheapest I could find online.I had to wait a few weeks for it to come from the US, but it was worth the time, and it came earlier than expected.

I have two of these now 400 and 1200, really helps to quickly get a sharp edge.

Take Care! Not suitable for narrow tool sharpening/flattening
The items is quite soft on its diamond face. It is thus easily marked/damaged/degraded if the user is not careful. Care should be taken *not* to try to flatten or sharpen any narrow tool on its edge (e.g. cabinet scrapers) using this diamond stone. Mine was ruined the first time I used it (to square off cabinet scrapers as per many internet guidance videos on scraper preparation using diamond stones). A hard and costly lesson with this specific make and product! I will use a mill file next time.

Perfect
So, this was ordered from the US on Friday 16/1/26, and was delivered on Monday 19/1/26 to the UK. How do they even do it! The most expensive Royal Mail delivery would have been no faster within the UK.As for the plate, it’s exactly what I ordered and in perfect condition. Please ignore the comment involving the card scraper damaging the diamonds, that’s the fault of the user and not the product. Diamonds are bonded to the base by electroplating, dig a corner in and it just drags them up. You’d think it’d be common sense.
