the cats love this thing!
I was looking for a new activity for our cats (previous stationary laser toy stopped working after a couple days, including the replacement) so I was browsing and this one caught my eye I was on the fence about it, but it was on sale for $9.98 which was significantly cheaper than comparable laser toys so I chanced it. Major selling point other than price was the usb-C charging and easy activation of the toy (moving it or nearby strong vibration). The charge lasts a long time, I've been charging it occasionally in the day while the cats are sleeping but it hasn't actually ran out of charge yet. immediately everybody checked it out and it's been a week and they still keep playing with it which is awesome. One cat did immediately chew the feather apart, and another chewed the nose off 🙄 so I ordered a backup for future use, and then 2 more for gifts for cat owner friends. It's cute, unobtrusive, quiet (the 10 note song that plays when it's triggered isnt loud & it's catchy) it bobbles around fast enough to move the laser around decently rapidly, no issues with it going in cats' eyes at all it's too quick. highly recommend this over other laser toys! one of our cats has been beating this egg boy pretty relentlessly and it's holding up strong. very happy with it

Cats love it, can't keep it charged up 😁
My cats love this toy they all want their turn at it. It stays charged up pretty well. They play with it all day long and I charge it at night. It does play music so if you don't wanna hear music in the night I would suggest turning it off and putting it up.

My 1-yr old cat is amused, but not always
This wobbly-toy is fairly good for a cat that is curious. Not all cats will be amused, though. The toy seems to "start up" randomly. It also "starts up" when it is bumped. I have not fooled around with the different settings, so... The toy does swivel around randomly, but sometimes it gets turned over on its side by the cat. It then cannot right itself. It would be a better toy if it had more of an ability to right itself to keep swiveling. My cat is often, but not always, interested in the toy. The red dot is something that he often chases. The silly music that accompanies the activation does not bother me. It is not loud. It does not wake me up. But, some people may find it annoying. Fortunately, I think it is not an annoying tune. It can easily be ignored (in my opinion). But it cannot be turned off. This is a decent toy that is worth trying out if you have a cat that responds to laser dots. Not all cats are interested in chasing lasers, so you should verify your cat's interest in lasers before buying this toy.

Why does it need music and why can't I turn it off?
First off- my cats love this guy. I think it's pretty solid for $10. His movements aren't super exciting on their own- the laser points at the ground just behind him and he swivels too fast for the cats to chase the laser. Plus he falls over pretty easily since he's so back-heavy, and can't get back up on his own. But my cats bat it around enough that the laser is more exciting for them and they can put him upright again, so it's good enough! The BIG issue is the sound. Every few minutes when it's activated, it plays a cheesy little riff, but it's the same one over and over and it gets old fast. There's no way to turn it off. I opened it up to try to deactivate it, but the sound chip has the speaker built in, and the battery runs through that chip first, so even if you got it off somehow (it's soldered on), the whole toy would stop working. I'm just learning to deal with it because the cats are happy, but it's a pretty huge oversight in my opinion. I was hoping to have this in our room as a quiet toy for them at night, but there's no way.

So darn cute entertained me and the cats
This toy is just so cute with his little shirt and hat. The pictures doesn't do it justice. I have cats of all ages and activity levels. This was a hit with all of them. The egg shape makes it wobble in all directions and spin around. The laser light is unpredictable due to the wobble of the toy. This leads to a lot of jumping and chasing the light. It plays music and captures the cats attention. I highly recommend this toy to get your cats moving and busy. My only regret is I didn't buy two! I have a lot of cats I take in from the street. One is just not enough. They are having a blast playing and I have to admit it entertained me as well. The hat gets chewed, the feathers are soggy but they are enjoying the toy. That's what it's all about letting them be cats and play.

One of their favorites
We are on our second one. The only thing that went wrong with the first one is that they wore it out. They chewed the hat apart and the. The laser made me nervous. This toy charges off of the standard C-charger. It holds the charge for many days. Once you turn it on, it stays active. It will self shut off but if your cat touches it, it will start up it's little dance and laser show. So I know it keeps my cats happy when I am working at harvest time and have no energy to play when I get home.I wish they sold replaceable hats. 😆

Welp. This is a great cat toy.
I buy so many cat toys and so many fail with my little dude. For whatever reason, he immediately went nuts with this one. This is the real deal. We are calling him Mr McBunster too. The song is just kind of silly and only plays sometimes.
