Good stencil, challenging solo project
I love the end result. Just don’t underestimate how long this may take if you’re on your own and have a large space to cover. Using this stencil on my 12x9 wall took me about a full day to do by myself, stopping to wash the paint off the stencil about every 10 uses. By the end it was pretty caked up with spray adhesive as well and it was making things come out fuzzier/less crisp, but you can’t tell unless you get really close. I also had issues getting the stencils lined up and had some gaps in some spots and overlap in others, luckily mostly at the bottom where the wall is mostly covered with furniture. There is also a bit of a brighter stripe where you overlap the stencils, but again probably not super noticeable if you’re not the one that did it. I’m very happy there were 2 full stencils because I could paint with one while the other dried and that helped keep things moving. I didn’t need to use the partial stencil that was provided so I’ll save that for any future touch ups, but tossed the 2 full stencils rather than trying to clean them.

Take your time
Love the way this turned out but it took a lot of time. I would order two sets if I did this again. I am an e perienced painter both wall painting and craft free hand painting. I used to own my own Etsy store and had a very successful reclaimed wood business where much of what I did was stencil with vinyl. This was not easy. I used Sherwin Williams naval paint in their emerald line. Cleaning was impossible even after 2 uses bc the fronds are so thin. I used painters tape to secure to the wall at the top and bottom. After each use I would hang the stencil on the side of my ladder to dry and then grab the other. Since it only comes with two large stencils, I would have bought two sets to keep things going. Had some bleeding in tough spot like the corners but I just touched it up.We have slight textured walls, not bumpy but lightly smear textured if that makes sense. That could also be why these took so much time. I used a foam roller and a small acrylic paintbrush to touch up.Overall very pleased with the results.

Great quality and easy to work with
This was my first time using wall stencils. I was surprised to find I could move and paint about 3 sections before needing to rinse off a sheet, and since the sheets are pretty large and there are two of them, the process went quickly. There is also a small "edge" piece with just half of the shape. This helped me get great results. Also, it warned not to use these on a heavily tectired wall, but since I was using the leaf pattern I thought that a muted shape might be OK, and it came out great!I used the spray adhesive as others recommended and that made positioning very easy. My only suggestion: somewhere it said to clean the spray adhesive off the stencils with baby oil. Don't do that, it left an awful mess and seems to have permanently coated the stencils.

Beautiful
This stencil is made so well! I’ve used it for a few places in my home and the leaves are oversized and it’s just what I was looking for!Don’t hesitate to purchase if you are looking for a tropical accent

Nice quality and love the design
Comes in a nice heavy tube, and there are two pieces, which makes it easier to apply. Nice quality, and I LOVE the design. I've done a bunch of stencil painting and haven't mastered the roller yet. But I love stencils and the choices you have! Can't wait to use this one!

Great stencil!
This was perfect for adding an accent wall to my bathroom! This was my first time using a wall stencil, through some trial and error it came out amazing! I used spray adhesive (definitely recommend!!!). The stencil was easy to use. Only issue was that it is a little fragile in some spots. Both of the stencils broke in the same spot while lifting, but I was still able to use them.

Fragile
The media could not be loaded. First, the stencils were an absolute b-word to get out of the tube. I tried pulling. I tried tapping. I tried coiling them tighter. I tried swearing. It took me 20 minutes of frustration to get them out of the tube. I am pretty sure it was the swearing that finally did the trick. Once they were about 5 inches out, they slid out like butter. I half wondered if there was a little tube gremlin who finally just let go. It was the weirdest thing. I checked to see if maybe there was adhesive that somehow contacted the inside of the tube- nope. I don’t know if it was suction… no idea! It was super frustrating because I was afraid of ripping the stencils if I tugged too hard.Anyway, these are very large stencils. I knew this and was fine hoping it would go faster, but after seeing how little “meat” was in between some of the frond leaves, I got very nervous. Being that I was going solo, the stencil is unwieldily and delicate, I decided to opt for a random pattern instead of fighting to keep the alignment. I think I still prefer the nice neat pattern of clean rows, but I know my limitations. Also, when it comes to getting close to corners and edges the instructions might as well just say, ‘figure it out’. The instructions will be fine if you have pattern stenciled before, but I wouldn’t recommend making this your first project. There was plastic film on some areas of my stencils and not others. On the tips of the leaves, several spots had the film but it had been melted by their cutting process so I had to go through and carefully scrape all of the stencils to get rid of these melty areas. Otherwise, they would have caused paint bleed. The instructions suggest painters tape, but I opted for a repositional, spray tack adhesive to ensure all of those tiny little cut-out areas were against the wall.Inside the tube were 2 stencils of the large frond and 1 smaller stencil of a half frond. The larger stencil is centered on the white space between the fonds. This is logical and necessary to ensure uniform placement of the pattern. I think though, rather than include two of these…or, better yet, rather than include only half of the frond on the smaller stencil, including a stencil of the entire fond on a single stencil would be much more helpful. This way you can get up close to those pesky wall edges regardless of if it is above, below, on the right, or left of the stencil. The picture included is my wall in progress. After I finish with the light green, I will go back through and repeat the process with a few darker shades of green (and perhaps a gold). I haven’t decided yet if I will overlap fronds, but I think so.The stencils are very reasonable priced. The film is a good thickness. I would buy this brand again without hesitation.

How to get it out of the tube
Take off the lid and notice there is a cuff at the top of the tube. To remove stencil, tap the tube on the countertop until it is reaches the end of the tube. Then cut a slit in the cuff of tube. Tear back the entire cuff and your stencil will the slide out of the tube easily.
