ClarksMen's Atl Part Sandals

I was looking to replace a pair of Clarks sandals that I have had for 25 years. There was nothing in the shop that matched the quality. I saw this online and the reviews were good so I decided to try them.On the negative; they were not as instantly comfortable as my old pair, I found the instep a bit high. On the positive: there was no rubbing and the sole is very comfortable, I think once I have broken them in a bit more they will be perfect.

At last a decent pair of genuine clarkes that fit as had so many in the past that we have had to send back because the straps weren't long enough to reach over and secure these are well made and good price

I got this pair because it was the only size 9 available, bizarrely. I have had them before, and they are durable, but spend a considerable while being slightly uncomfortable before they wear in. They eventually wear in and last for about a year. There are other sandals that last a bit longer, but these stand up to wear and tear and the elements extremely well. I have no problem recommending them, but cannot in all honesty award 5 stars.

Morning costly than others but supreme quality. I love them. You get what you pay for. Won't buy anything but these next time. But they look like they will last years. I find them very comfortable and warm under my foot. Recommend

An old pair of Clarks sandals final fell apart and I replaced them with these. I wanted a pair that were comfortable to go for long walks on a variety of surfaces. These are excellent. The heal toe and top strap are all adjustable to get a good fit of the foot in the right position on the sole. Have used them on paved, gravel and rough grass and found them very comfortable. I need an 8 or 8 1/2 depending on the shoe width and these 8 1/2 are just right.

I purchased these as spares Clarks seem to have stopped making this model of sandal which is a shame.Great sandals for walking in robust and hard wearing.

My previous pair of these finally fell apart after 15 years of summer wear. I’d fixed them with a staple gun - worked well.These don’t have the magnetic clip, but are otherwise the same. Hope they’ll last as long.

I bought these expensive Clarks sandals to replace an old pair of Clarks I have have for over 20 years.That pair shown in the 2nd photo have been up mountains in UK and Europe, on beaches used all summer for 20 years.The pair I bought are much lighter and while comfortable do feel much less substantialI wore them first time while walking around fields on a farm. Nothing too strenuous. After only a short time the main strap broke.You can see from the photo how all stitching has come out and the strap is detached.Looking at photos 3&4 you can see that unlike my old ones which are solid thick leather with padding on the inside these straps appear to be two very thin pieces of leather with some form in between.Makes them much weakerSadly it seems Clarks have cut back on material quality very badly. Such a shame.Don't think this is just one bad pair as it's the construction that is at fault not just quality control.Wish I could still buy the style I had before!
