Do you watch Top Chef (or did you watch it when it was good)? Then you probably know about molecular gastronomy. This little soy "pods" pop in your mouth like caviar, but they don't taste like caviar. They taste like .... soy pods. I'm using mine to sprinkle on scallop crudo along with lemon zest as an appetizer. It makes a really great presentation and tastes great!

Unique flavor and makes some dishes look very nice and finished.. It’s a very small jar so doesn’t last long.

I’ve never heard of Soy Caviar before – well, we live to learn something new in life right? I was excited to try it. Those are little soy balls/spheres which look like caviar. The “caviar” came in a glass jar but it was safely packaged so it wasn’t broken. I’ve added this “caviar” on top of sushi and almost everyone in my family loved it. Such an interesting and unique way to serve sushi. I think the price is on higher end for such a small jar but if you want to "wow" your guests then get this one.
