Absolutely fantastic( but read update)
From a sound perspective this little beauty is absolutely fantastic. It hits every note right, highs, lows kids etc etc are all there and just right. It’s not the loudest speaker but it’ll fill a large room at top volume. And to it’s credit, unlike my Sonos 5 it doesn’t falter at all at top volume. Everything is crisp and easy to listen to. This little box plays hard and well above its small stature. Speakers costing £150 are hard pushed to complete sonically with this beauty.******Update**Iv been using this for a few days now. Some of the niggles are coming through. This device only gets any decent volume when you hit 75/80 percent. Below that it’s not that good. Although the sound is very very good, don’t be expecting a very wide soundstage. If you sit in from of this speaker you’ll get the best from it. If not, you’ll still get great sound just not as good. In fairness I prefer my Amazon echo studio speaker if I’m in a room moving around. It’s simply just better. No matter which way you move you get the same quality sound due to the directional speakers. Put 2 echo studios together in stereo pair and they blow this speaker out the water with quality and loudness. However it’s roughly £100 more. I’m still happy giving this a 5 star review as the sound quality alone deserves it. But remember you really need to be sat down, directly in front of this speaker to get the best from it.

Good
I researched wireless speakers extensively before buying this. It’s widely lauded as an excellent wireless speaker but in my experience reviews are not always the whole story and sometimes raise expectations unreasonably. For example, to read some reviews (and I’m talking here about so-called expert reviews, not reviews like mine and others on Amazon) you’d think that this speaker would out-perform anything in its price range and beyond. I just wanted to put this in perspective from my limited but reasonably extensive experience. I should add however that judging sound quality is notoriously difficult, and subjective.Ok. So the sound is good. There’s good volume and the treble and bass is strong, particularly so for the bass in a speaker of this size. I do find that the middle frequencies are sometimes slightly less forward than I would like; it does depend on the source track however. The only way of somewhat correcting this on the Audio Pro app is to reduce treble and bass (there’s no full equalizer), which is not ideal. And like many speakers the C10 sounds better at moderate to loud volumes than it does at low ones. I’ll admit I’m being picky here (perhaps reacting to all those OTT reviews). Another way of looking at it: I have a mini hifi (which several years ago cost about 30% more than the C10); I’ve linked that to a Google Chromecast Audio (sadly no longer available) so as to play from similar sources (and using the same Wi-Fi) and the sound quality is in my view generally better (admittedly with two speakers and stereo). (I also have a higher end hifi that I’ve linked in the same way – no prizes for guessing whether this sounds better.)I mention all this to put the C10 sound in perspective. It’s good but not outstanding in absolute terms. It may well be that it’s the best wireless speaker in its price range (and of course it has the benefit of being capable of set up with other similar speakers using the Audio Pro app). But don’t assume there aren’t other solutions if all you want is to play over Wi-Fi. For example, I’ve tried linking my mini hifi to an Amazon Echo dot using a 3.5mm cable and then played Spotify through it (you need to link Amazon & Spotify accounts), with excellent results. There’s one thing the reviewers did get right: the C10 is very nicely made and reassuringly solid. It looks good, the top control panel is convenient, and the presets are particularly useful. When setting up the speaker for the first time I did find I needed to have a couple of attempts, and the process seemed a bit clunky, but once set up it does seem stable so far. The Audio Pro app (Android version) is a bit basic but I’ve had no problems – but I’ve not tried it to control multiple speakers. Finally, there may be an issue if your Wi-Fi router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels (as many recent BT routers do, for example). The C10 works only with 2.4GHz and, significantly, the device on which the app is loaded has also to be on 2.4GHz (at least during set up). There is a work around if you’re prepared to configure your router to separate the 2.4 and 5GHz channels (but this is not an ideal solution). I did query Audio Pro with a question concerning this, using their customer service web form: They replied “It is recommend to use 2.4 GHz only. You can still install and use it when the bands are together. There maybe will be some stability issues sometimes but I've never really had any issues with it”. I can confirm that I haven’t separated the channels on my router and haven’t so far had problems.

Amazing speaker that I'll buy again when I can!
Great p&p and delivery speed especially for these Covid days so top mark's to the seller TVA TECH.That said, why 5 stars...?Up to a few weeks ago I'd been the proud owner of a Sonos Play5 V.2 and they are impressive in style as well as substance however here's the but... It died without warning. Contacted Sonos who offered me a replacement at 30% off rrp but as I'd heard that Sonos were stopping support for some of their previous products I was not comfortable shelling out another £340 on a speaker that had failed without warning or explanation after only 5 years. It's a common occurrence according to the forums so decided to look elsewhere and so very, very glad that I did.The C10 is AMAZING!Granted, it's not as physically loud as the Play5 but at 75% and above the Play5 started to seriously fray around the edges, the C10 keeps calm all the way up!The C10 sounds better at all volumes, richer and more dynamic with a spread of sound that is immersive rather than overly processed and synthetic, high hats and cymbals shimmer and sparkle without sounding shrill and kick drums pulse as gently as heart beats or physically throb, I can feel the bass and that's without any EQ from the app!!Regarding the app, its not as archaic as some have said and I'm not really certain what you should expect, personally if it works quickly I'm happy as the sonos app had it's fair share of moments believe me. I'm playing via spotify and music stored directly on my phone so far no issues to speak of.Ultimately, everything I've written is my personal perspective but 5 years ago I was listening to all I could and decided on the Sonos. Since then the C10 and its smaller versions have won countless awards and I understand why. In the Covid era you can't demo everything and I would not hesitate to recommend this C10 to anyone looking for a quality speaker. Add to the fact that its Bluetooth equipped so when the wi-fi fails the music doesn't stop! ...and its roughly 150 quid cheaper so its a no brainer if that can be said about a purchase at £279... and did I mention that it has a SIX YEAR GUARANTEE!!!!
