Really poor light level - I wasted my money.
Seems to do what it says - you have no idea whether or not it's working until you look into it through your camera at night and there they are - 4 very dim IR lights that barely show up on the camera and, frankly, a burning match produces a million times more 'light' than this does.I fully accept it's 'invisible' to the human eye, but I bought this for my night vision camera to cover a very dark corner ... it's made no difference at all - you can't even tell it's there.If I could have given this zero stars, I would have. Back to Amazon for something with a bit more 'oomph'.

Great. Just works.
This got me out of a peculiar situation. I had an indoor CCTV that had no infrared light (failed) so images at night were rubbish.This unit now sits in a USB charging socket in my mains socket and it works fine.No need to power on or off. It comes on automatically in the dark. No sound. No red light. Great.
