The COLOR is AMAZING!!! I grew up on these comics and now am able to read from them nightly. These are so fun! I have ordered these as gifts as well.

I am a lifelong Archie fan, and I couldn't resist scooping up this gift pack for my kids (9 and 13). This is a fairly random assortment, so the comic books don't go in order. Fortunately, Archie comics don't need to be read in order! It's a good assortment in that you get a good amount of all your favorite characters and types of storylines. Ordered before Christmas, and my set had four Christmas themed-books.

I loved Archie comics when I was growing up, and my kids loved Archie comics when they were growing up. And this year, they'll be getting these Archie comics for Christmas. They'll love them.I am going to assume you are familiar with Archie comics, which are a very fun and funny way for pre-teens to explore the teen years. I am just going to describe what I have in front of me.These are the digest size, so not like comic books. They are the smaller size. In fact, they struck me as a bit smaller than the digest size – and wouldn't you know it, we happened to have an old favorite Archie double digest sitting in the hallway outside my room. So I did a quick size comparison. These Archie jumbo comics are about a centimeter shorter than the old digest. They are also a smidge less wide.In addition, the covers are slick and glossy. Every single back cover advertises either Riverdale (a show I have not seen but which I understand is not actually suitable for the target audience of the comics) or The Archies movie (which I did not know was a thing).These jumbo comics are all thick, about half again as thick as the double digest. More Archie to love!!

When it comes to pages of quality content per dollar, Archie digests are hard to beat.This 8 pack of comics comes with stories from all eras; from early Pep stuff up through modern Dan Parent work. All the greats are here, and you're sure to see a ton of Stan Goldberg and Dan DeCarlo (the folks you think of when you think of what an Archie comic looks like) stuff.Great to have in the car. Great to have in your office in case you or your co-workers bring a kid in. Great as stocking stuffers. I even put some in the local Little Free Pantries with the other food stuff so the kids can also have something small to make them smile.Solidly recommended. 100%. Good stuff.

I purchased these Archie comics for my 8 year old son who doesn't really enjoy reading. When I told him these were the comics that I used to read as a child, he kinda got excited, and at least he's reading! The description is exactly as mentioned, comes with 4 Archie comic books.

This was a gift for our grandson. He loved them.

I bought these for my Granddaughter, who was/is spending the daytime parts of her summer with me while mom works. She loves her Archie and the gang Digests!!The problem was when she opened them they were all Christmas themed. Now as much as it is lovely to think of cool weather during hot temperatures, the comics shown were all summertime/beach/warm weather themed. Yes not really a big deal unless you are a kid and thinking they would be at least in season and recent. She wanted me to give no stars or 1 star but I gave 2 because Archie and the gang were at one time one of my favs!!Review from a sad granddaughter and her grandma.
