Rainbow Window Film

Wonderful and super easy to apply! I was sick and tired of seeing my neighbors junk in their backyard out my window so I applied this and it was perfect. It lets in plenty of light but hides the horrible mess next door!

I’m so happy with this privacy film! Most reviews focus on how it looks during the day, which is gorgeous, but I honestly love it even more at night. When lights hit it, it throws the prettiest little rainbow reflections and gives the room such a cozy, magical vibe. It almost feels like subtle stained glass. During the day, it still lets in plenty of natural light while adding a soft, colorful shimmer. Privacy-wise, it’s not blackout-level, but that’s exactly what I wanted. It blurs things enough to feel comfortable without completely blocking everything out. Installation was pretty straightforward. One tip: completely soak the glass before applying the film, not just a light spritz. That made it much easier to slide into place and smooth out. Such an easy upgrade that makes the space feel special 24/7. Definitely recommend if you want something functional and beautiful! 🌈✨

Most important - • video shows look from inside during night time with lights off, then on, then sunset. • Came with the tools you need, and helped tremendously. • Pictures don't do these justice. They are beautiful and completely elevated my windows, and gave my living room the exact pop of color I wanted with it's rainbow effect • pick the size closest to, or bigger than your window for cleanest results and less work • works pretty well for privacy • helps with reducing heat a lot more than expected for being the rainbow one • personally I think it looks best at night time if there's outdoor lights. I live near a shopping center and it's beautiful. And sunset. My god it's spectacular. • YOU WILL NOT GET THE RAINBOW EFFECT INSIDE IF THE SUN DOESN'T GO THROUGH THE WINDOW. make sure to put these on a window facing the sun. Was looking for some window films to help with heat as my apartment gets stupidly hot in the summer. Can't attest to that too much yet as it started cooling down a lot since I put it up, but from what I can tell on the days it is hot, it seems to keep my surprisingly cooler than before. I was shocked. It's not going to be night and day by all means, but it certainly helps. For me that was the most important part. On to what really matters for others, and now me as well. THESE ARE SO PRETTY. I can not tell you how much photos do not give these the justice they deserve. Right out of the package it does seem like they are flat and white, but it's just because they are wrapped with the backing facing outwards. Also you can't really see all the color until it's in the window. It can with pretty good instructions, a small squeegee(?) With a handle, spray bottle i didn't use and a utility knife. The squeegee was much nicer than others since it came with a handle. Loved that. Application was very easy, and best part IT ISNT STICKY. Just spray some soapy water on the window and the film and move it into place. Mine doesn't look the best up close as I got the smallest size as it was on sale. So I cut it to size and played tetris. Considering, it still came out very well and you cant tell from far away or when the suns out. My advice, get the size that fits your window the best. Don't be like me. 🤣 bubble removable was super easy as well, especially if you put enough soapy water. If you didn't you can pick up a corner or side easily and spray more if you need to.

I bought this with the plan to cut my out stencils out of it and it worked out PERFECTLY!! You can buy pre-cut decals for your windows of the same material but I noticed it was more expensive and I didn't like the shapes they came in. I just wanted simple stars and hearts and I was amazed how effortless it was to do myself, and there's a ton of material leftover. Gorgeous rainbows all over my house and less blinding direct light. If you want to do the same DIY I did, these are the materials I used not included in the package; -Basic scissors (the razer this product came with felt a bit too flimsy to accurately cut rounded shapes for me.) -Cardboard or card stock; something solid but easy to cut to make DIY stencils. -Dry-erase markers that could easily be wiped off the privacy film or window if I accidentally got it on it directly. The privacy film has a backing sort of wax paper that's perfect for drawing stencils on for cutting, and it's even got guidelines for straight cuts if you don't want anything fancy. The package for this product came with a small hard squeegee that was the perfect size for this DIY as well as a tiny spray bottle to make water application easy. The privacy film is also super easy to clean if you accidentally get the inner side dirty! All you need is just some water and wipe it off; good as new. This is a huge advantage in comparison to something that's sticky, and if you apply it wrong to the window it's easy to move and reapply it elsewhere. I am overwhelmingly happy with this product but I will be fair to give some cons; -The texture of the stained glass can make it a little hard to squish all the air bubbles out. Luckily any leftover air bubbles actually look pretty beautiful with this style of texture haha -I struggled to wash my window after applying these ^^; but that's what I expected going in. As long as the stencils are big enough and applied properly, they shouldn't come off with typical window wipedowns.

I like these very much. I feel for the cost I should have been able to do more than three windows. I bought the large roll and was hoping it would be enough for all my windows but it was not. The install was relatively easy. Everything you need other than some water and a drop of dish soap is included. I saturated the film and the glass for install as per instructions although I did still have some trouble with the edges staying flat to the glass. It wasnt a lot of lifting so I used some clear packing tape to keep the corners down where it was needed and you can't tell at all. It looks clear and provides enough blurring effect to not be able to see directly in your windows but if you get up close you can still see in. It hasn't been very sunny in my area lately so I havent seen a ton of rainbows on the wall but there were a few and it looks really cool when the sun shines through at the right angle.

So awesome for the money ! It's kind of hard sometimes buying things online and it's always my go-to thing. I was a little bit weary of the paper because you can't see it and feel it inside. You know. So I had it in my cart and I was thinking well for the money and the price it is. I'm really unsure. So I go to Walmart and look at their paper for the window and a roll of it was like $20 and it wasn't even a pretty design. I just did not want to spend the money. So I said what the heck. Let me spend the $5 and change that I got it for and see how it is. It's really a beautiful contact paper for the window. When the sun hits it. It's so pretty. You get everything you need with it tools a little spray bottle stuff like that. And it's super easy to apply. I was really scared of the applying but it turned out wonderful. I could not be pleased more with my purchase. I even just ordered another roll that I received today. I had this idea to make the front door kind of decorative. By doing every other space. And it looks good but I like it so much. I think I'm just going to do the whole door and the top part of our bathroom window.

Love this product! It still let's in a lot of light, but does an excellent job providing privacy. The rainbow refraction is beautiful when the sun shines through. Bonus that it was quick and easy to install & came with everything you need.

Pretty, but more transparent than the photo and doesn't really add the level of privacy we were hoping for. We put this on a window in our dressing room that faces the front of our house, out into the street, because we wanted to be able to let the light in but be able to get undressed in our dressing room at the same time. When it arrived, it looked more transparent than I was expecting. But the instructions said that it would look more transparent until you put it on the window. This seemed sus to me, as I figured that by the time I went to all the trouble to get it on the window, I wasn't going to want to return it even if it didn't do the job. Something that seems sneaky and like deceptive advertising on the part of the company. Unfortunately, I was right. It's certainly pretty, and I love the rainbows it casts when it's really sunny out, but I'm still stressed about getting dressed in our dressing room because the neighbors will be able to see that we aren't wearing clothes, even if they can't see all the exact details. My husband and I tested it last night when it was dark, and if I stand too close to the window, you can definitely see more details than we'd like. I really don't want to be giving a show to our new neighbors. I'm disappointed, I feel like this product is misrepresented, and I don't have the time or energy to try to replace it (we just moved and still have a million boxes to unpack, so this is low priority.) I'll probably have to buy some sort of curtain or something now, which defeats the entire purpose of this wasted $30 product and all the time spent cutting it precisely and getting it on the window. Just know that you are buying something that is purely cosmetic and adds minimal privacy if you buy this design. If that's the purpose, you'll probably love it. The rainbows are beautiful. If you want actual privacy, look for another pattern or design or maybe opt for curtains.
