This is a good book with a lot of useful exercises, I would recommend this for teaching yourself as I do or in a classroom environment

And there was me thinking I'd never be able to read music! You can start within minutes with this book it's terrific! I have only used it a few weeks with my classical guitar.

good to have melodies rather than excercises and increases in difficulty in sensible increments.
