Chaotic Fun
“Pick a Story: A Monster Princess Shark Adventure” is a delightful concept that brings an interactive twist to children’s books. The ability for young readers to choose the direction of Zara’s adventure makes it an engaging and exciting read. My child loved deciding whether Old Ted was taken by a monster, princess, or shark, and the variety of story paths kept them entertained for hours. The activities like search-and-find and mazes are a great addition, adding an extra layer of fun and challenge. However, the story can sometimes feel a bit chaotic. With so many choices, it’s easy for kids to get lost or confused about the storyline. Additionally, the activities, while enjoyable, can sometimes interrupt the flow of the narrative, making it hard for kids to stay focused on the main story. Overall, it’s a fun book that stimulates imagination, but it might need some parental guidance to help kids navigate through the different paths.

Nice idea
This item arrived nicely packaged. I really like the concept of this book. In the corner of the pages, you can choose the next step to the story and then turn to the page stated to continue it. The storylines do get a little muddled but I love the idea of it. This means the book has multiple stories even though it doesn't have many pages. I read it with my niece and she loved choosing and finding the page. Lovely idea

Charming, great illustrations and multiple endings
This is such a lovely book.It is well illustrated. The charming, and awesome feature is the three options that are given at regular points so that children can choose what happens next.Recommended.

Bit hit and miss
I ordered this for story time reading with my granddaughter who is 3, but it held little in way of keeping her enthralled as it just didn’t make sense to her that you jump from page to page. Any relaxing read is lost as the story lacks fluidity. My 9 yr old granddaughter read it a few times, but again it was a bit hit and miss in the fact that you’re into the story then move to a choice of 2 and go to the corresponding page number. A few times she had to refer back to her previous page as she’d lost the thread of the story line. Sometimes confusing as it just didn’t relate fully in the smooth running of a story with all the stop starts. It’s a nice idea, but lacks continuity in the storyline.

Good concept
Better than a lot of other books for the price. The choose your own story aspect often ends up looping though, based on the decisions you make it is very easy for the story not to end and Instead just keep going back through each of the 3 themes.

I used to love these kind of books as a child, and I still love them now that I read them with my son.The story is fun, and it's great to be able to stir it by making choices. The illustrations are gorgeous and bright, definitely make the book a lot more interesting to read.A great family activity to pass some time having fun.

Vibrant and engaging
"Pick a Story: A Monster Princess Shark Adventure" is a truly unique and clever interactive picture book that has quickly become a favorite in our household. The concept of allowing children to choose their own story path makes each reading experience exciting and different. The illustrations are vibrant and engaging, capturing the imagination of both kids and adults alike. My children love the variety of adventures they can embark on, whether it's following a monster, a princess, or a shark. This book not only entertains but also encourages creative thinking and decision-making. It's perfect for bedtime stories or any time of the day. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to add a fun and interactive element to their child's reading routine.
