I previously had a vax for pets for 5 years. It gave up and had to buy another, as money as tight on being on maternity leave, I went for a cheaper one - being this one. The suction is amazing, I noticed the difference straight away! It’s not even a pet one but it really does pick up all the dog hair. It’s lighter than my previous one too, it’s just as good. The only reason I gave a 4* is because the bottom part doesn’t rotate. So you can only go back and forth and have to twist your body to change angle. It’s not a problem though I can put up with this for the price and the power of the Hoover. The cord length isn’t as long as my previous one which I did notice but it’s still not too bad can do a whole room with it.

Easy to put together ... plugged in and away I went. Glides over the carpet, easy to manoeuvre, could not believe the suction and amount of dust etc lifted from the carpet and how easy to empty the container. A super vac at a superb price ... definitely recommend

I purchased this hoover in July 2021, needed a replacement by December 2021 and now that's packed up too with the exact same issue! The hoover is OK, the suction is good, it's lightweight and the cord length is great, but it's difficult to reach up to get cobwebs with the hose or even hoover the stairs as the hose is screwed in at the lowest part of the hoover, which results in having to lift the hoover which isn't ideal.And then it just stops working for no apparent reason. The carpet roller stops turning, it sounds slightly different and won't even pick up a tiny bit of fluff let alone anything else. No blockages, nothing obstructing the roller, it just won't work. A little annoying considering it's used twice a week in a small 2 bed semi - I miss the days when Vax hoovers lasted years without an issue!

Had to get a new vacuum cleaner and did a thorough search taking in peoples recommendations along the way.Decided on a Vax and liked the idea of an upright because of limited storage space.The big drawback of this Air Upright is the fact it's so heavy !That and the odd way you need to adjust the handle from unmovable in the upright position to angle to be able to use.As a vacuum it's very effective. Nothing gets left behind; no bags to empty; easy to store.But sometimes the rollers don't seem to operate on the front without exertion and it's weight mean that you're exhausted when you're done

We ordered this vacum cleaner after our old one broke. Chose a Vax vacuum cleaner as we have got previous experience with the Vax carpet washer. The speed of delivery was very impressive. I was very impressed with the suction power of this vacum + it left our carpets clean. We ended up giving this vacum to my partners mum, as her vacum had just broke. + We ordering another Vax from Amazon. I would definitely recommend this Vax vacum.
