The media could not be loaded.  2 major points to note in general.1st, if you want pin sharp video footage that can see people’s faces at 10ft +, then you really have to pay serious money.2nd, High quality video (2k, 4k, etc) streaming over wifi, uses a lot of data. low speed wifi will struggle and signal will drop out or just keep buffering.That goes for any security cameraRight, so assuming you have half decent wifi and you just want to keep an eye on things, then this camera is pretty good.This is on the mains on my garage which is approx 50ft from my house. as of to date i’ve not had the wifi drop out and all seems pretty good.as you can see from the footage you can’t make out any clear face, But that’s not we are after, it’s just a generalisation as to what’s going on. thanks to this ring camera and other neighbours on our estate this scumbag has been caught and arrested.This camera intergrates nicely with alexa devices though not needed and overall i am very happy with it.I do pay for the ring subscription but it woks out pretty cheap compared to others. nothing is for free!I will let others go in to more depth about the set up and using of the camera, there is always going to be pro’s and cons with any device, but for me this is a fairly straight forward set up and it seems good value for the money.

This product hold up to the usually Ring quality that I’ve come accustom to. Great quality, good quality camera and mic is of a good quality but could be improved. The integration with the ring app and Alexa app is flawless and simple. Great to monitor whatever you need to monitor whether inside or outside your house.

Build quality is good. Overall size is much larger than the stick up cam standard. Night vision camera footage is slightly better quality.I don’t like the pre-roll feature pixelation. Seems a little pointless. The day picture is better but not superb when zooming in, still lacking the quality there.Wider range of view and sensitive recording is great. It picks up movement before persons come into view.Battery life is pretty pants. Sapped on 120 recording in a couple of days. I set down to 30 seconds, which has gone down 50% in 5 days. May need the solar panel.Overall, pricey for what it is with only slight improvement. I would recommend over the standard version but get it in the sale.

I've had ring kit for almost 10 years, I was one one of the first to get the original ring video doorbell in the UK and have always stuck with them as I have a lot of their kit from over the years.As kit begins to fail, I replace it with whatever their latest is. My stickup cam outdoor failed during the storms recently, so I decided to upgrade and go for the pro, as I have done with my video doorbell pro and spotlight cam.When this arrived, I was initially taken aback on how much bigger/bulkier it was vs the stickup cam it is replacing. "Bigger is better right?" I thought......wrong.Once the camera was mounted and powered on, I couldn't wait to see if the video quality. Sadly, I was left disappointed, even with HDR enabled in the settings.The image is grainy, just like other ring devices. Wifi etc is good, I even brought it in and stood beside my google wifi (I have 500mbps down 75mbps up Broadband) - but still, grainy pictures.I've never seen an image on any of the ring products to come close to any of their imagery online or in adverts, and the usual argument still stands........Can ring provide a camera that will monitor an area for me? - YesIf something occurs and I need to zoom in on a face or vehicle reg etc will the quality be good enough to provide ID? - Absolutely not.I almost ditched the whole ring system to go for Eufy as they can provide 4k quality and a home recording hub, and also offers 24/7 recording, but decided to stick with the ring setup as I am already in their eco system....verging or regret now.In summary, if you are looking for a ring cam, stick with the "non-pro" cheaper versions. The video quality provided is essentially the same.

Having purchased and been delighted with a Ring doorbell we decided to start replacing all our home cameras with Ring units so as to have access through a single App and the (optional) Subscription.Like the doorbell the unit is well packaged and has a very solid feel to it out of the box.The App provides all you need to know with regards to mounting the camera and linking it into your home network. The latter being the simplest process we have ever used and we have many a networked item in the house. If you need further advice YouTube has numerous videos and the Ring Chat facility is always answered swiftly and the agents are first class.The quality of video is excellent.The App is so simple to use and has so many clever features including tailoring the area you monitor and the area where alerts are generated.The intercom feature is excellent and the seasonal greetings that can be switched on is a lot of fun.And of course the doorbell and this camera works with Alexa so we can keep an eye on what is happening outside from our Alexa unit whilst home working.We are now solid fans of Ring and have taken the subscription so that we have access to all the features and know that our video history is available to us.This product is highly recommended.

I bought two of these cameras to cover the front of our, quite wide, bungalow. The idea being to cover the front with one camera covering left to right and the other from right to left. Fitted the first one and realised I wouldn't need the second as the range is so good.Easy to set up the camera with the, very useful, app. The camera requires 4 screws (supplied) to mount its base which the camera then clips to with a short screw to fix.The solar panel has a generous enough cable and the plug is a push fit into the rear of the camera. Battery life is good so if there are a few overcast days, the camera will continue to operate.All in all, very pleased with the product and the brand.
