Would recommend!
I have severe neuropathy in my left leg and foot, cannot flex my foot, lift big toe and have foot drop. I have an AFO and another higher end brace that work well for running but honestly I wanted to try something that didn’t stand out so much. I know this isn’t made for running but wanted to give it a shot. It has actually worked really well! I use sturdier running shoes and have even run a half marathon with this brace. It doesn’t fix my gait but I don’t think that’s going to happen with any brace at this point. It does loosen throughout a run because it’s velcro but I wouldnt dock it a star since it’s not made for running. Worth giving this a shot. My only suggestion would be to make the strap coming from your shoelace to the brace brace to have a clip instead of Velcro. To me it would be sturdier. You’ll have to judge your own body to know if running would work for you but I felt fine because I consistently run and strength train so I felt itd be worth seeing if I trip or not. Thankfully, I haven’t had any bad trips! I never write this thorough of a review but I relied of them when purchasing this so thought it only right to do the same for others!

Needs Constant Adjusting
I recently developed foot drop after suffering a pinched sciatic nerve on my right lower leg, ankle and foot. I purchased 2 different brands of this style brace to help get around with more freedom without tripping or falling. It does lift my foot to help prevent tripping however I feel like I need to adjust the vertical strap too often to keep it tight enough. The other brace I bought is from Foot Up which looks identical to this one but feels a bit more supportive and the straps don't need constant tightening while wearing it. Overall it's a decent product at a good price but if I should need another one due to wear and tear, I will opt to repurchase the Foot Up brace over the Konmed.

This Works Really Well!
I was prescribed one of the custom foot braces for my drop foot condition, and wore it as I was supposed to, but it always rubbed and hurt the top side part of my foot where the brace curved over it. My doctor told me about these KonMed soft braces so I found them on Amazon and ordered one. It had been such a welcome relief to wear this, with no pain and my foot no longer swells. I will probably be ordering another just to have as a back-up, as I never want to go back to the "custom" carbon fiber monstrosity.I have read where people have complained about the wearing out of the strap that attaches to the shoe. Well, for anyone that has ever used Velcro straps very much, you learn that they wear out eventually. I already had some commercial grade Velcro straps that I use for tying our bicycles down to a bike rack. I was able to substitute one of these and it work perfectly. Actually, it works even a bit better as the Velsro grip is better on these straps.

Good Product that Could Use Some Improvements
This is a good device for a person with foot drop. It delivers as advertised- you very simply attach it to the laces in the front of your shoe and attach it then to the sleeve that you put on your ankle. I have three issues. 1. If you have a small ankle, the sleeve on your leg slides down and constricts the skin on your ankle, making in very uncomfortable. 2. The shoe you wear needs to have a sturdy bottom as regular running shoes with a very flexible sole do not afford enough support and your toes end up getting pushed to the front of the shoe. 3. It only comes in black. Why not a flash tone? And why not white attaching straps to be less conspicuous on shoes with white laces?

This has been a true life saver.
I've tried them all. Prescription and OTC. This has been the best drop foot solution I've found. I do wish it came with extra Velcro straps, but replacements are available on Amazon.

Good idea, just doesn't go far enough.
It didn't really pull the toe up enough. It needs a way of attaching the strap to the toe, not the bridge of the foot. Used it for about a month, it helps but not enough.

Good and Bad
Great idea. It is less intrusive than a full leg brace. But I am on my second one and the foot strap is already failing. It will not hold when walking. I am petite and lightweight and should stay stuck. I bought industrial Velcro that works. Frustrating.
