Real recipes for real food!
The recipes in this book are just easy enough to challenge kids without being too hard, and so far all of them have been delicious! Our favorite is the cinnamon zepoles. I like that there’s also an educational aspect about sustainability with some suggested activities. We haven’t gotten around to any of them yet but it’s got my kids excited about gardening in real life, not just in Minecraft! Overall I recommend this book. It doesn’t have too many recipes for items that are actually in Minecraft like the unofficial cookbooks, but the food is a lot higher quality and the chef character is a cute link throughout the book.

Damaged Book Brought to you by AMZNG
5 star Great content and recipes. However 1 star, Amazon just does not know how to either properly pack books or just lets them bang around in their FC warehouse! This is the sixth damaged book, have received all different titles over the years. One title had the same damage as this. The replacement was damaged worse than the first!!!I am sick of this. I am going to buy books brick and mortar like Books a Million. I advise everyone else to do the same!

Not as good as the unofficial book
I bought the unofficial cookbook awhile ago and it was so cute and had minecraft themed recipes! When this was announced my kid and I were very excited for this official cookbook! This book was pretty disappointing in that the only minecraft portion was random characters and pictures. The recipes are all standard recipes and yes they are easy for beginners but it doesn't excite my kid to make gnocchi. The unofficial book made him excited to try and create a night vision potion.
