Kuhn Rikon Straight/Serrated Swiss Swivel Peeler, Set of 2, Green/Red

Wow, what can I say? It's impressive: impressively sharp and easy to use. You can peel any fruit or veg without any pressure at all and slicing the thinnest skins off.Down side: it's also wickedly easy to slice a bit of your own skin off. Definitely not for children or anyone with motor skill problems.In contrast to the instructions and to what some other reviews mentioned, it can still be used by "pullers". I peel towards the thumb because it is so much more stable and controlled for me. Yes, caution is adviced, but it most definitely can still be cone.Because it is so wickedly sharp I found it also works great as a cheese slicer!

I'd love both if I had anything to use the serrated one on, but so far I haven't! But I do love the smooth-bladed one (the green one) and shall probably get another some time as backup. It cuts very very well, and is an excellent size for my rather small hands as the part of the handle nearest the blade is very narrow. The blade swivels so it adapts to one's preferred angle. I like to peel toward myself, and it does that admirably, but also will peel away.I was puzzled by one of the reviewers who said it peels too thickly. It doesn't. Or maybe it does if you're heavy-handed. It's possible to use this to cut ultra-thin slices, if you use a light touch.Edit: I have since found a use for the red handled one: peeling mangoes! It does this admirably. Be aware, though, if you use this - it's very sharp and very dangerous if you lose your grip on it. I have to use a fork to help stabilize the mango while using it!

Very effective and easy to use peeler. It is very sharp so you need to be careful but does the job so quickly and very comfortable handle.

After reading some reviews i was a little worried about the serrated blades For peeling but they are superb, super sharp and makes peeling so easy its unreal, i did see some reviews saying they are brutal if they catch your fingers.....word of advice just be careful they are sharp but anyone with common sense knows to keep your fingers well out the way

This peeler is like all Kuhn Rikon products, very superior to other similar products. It is ergonomically designed and easy to use for right or left handed people. The blade is very sharp so to avoid getting cut when it storing this in the cutlery drawer I keep it wrapped in a cloth. This is my second peeler like this and I would recommend this product. A cheaper version is not the same.

This peeler is fantastic! It actually makes peeling fun. I know that might seem strange but it’s so so effortless you actually enjoy it.It’s quite sharp but easy to use safely.I’m actually going to get my all my family members one for a Christmas present it’s so good 🤣

Very easy to use,peeling potatoes is a breeze with this,very sharp blade which can be used by right and left handers alike.

Wasn't as good as the KR swivel peeler that I have worn out

This great peeler glides smoothly on potatoes and carrots. Its serrated blade design will probably make peeling a tomato , other soft vegetables or fruit a whiz too. Best peeler I've ever used.

Great value! Can stay sharp for over a year. Mildly difficult to clean back of blade. Unless something better comes along, we will continue to purchase this.

Súper facil de usar, hay que tener cuidado y prestarle atención cuando se usa porque corta bastante pero es justo lo interesante de este pelador, lo bien que corta aun pasado el tiempo.

Ce couteau est parfait pour peler les tomates...Plus besoin de les plonger dans l'eau bouillante et se brûler les doigts.Il coupe aussi les poivrons, les mangues et tout ce qui a la peau fine. . Ses lames ultra tranchantes coupent parfaitement et de façon sécuritaire. Pour le nettoyer je le passe sous l'eau et le laisse sécher à l'air libre.

Il prodotto è ergonomico, l'impugnatura è molto comoda e permette grazie alla sia lama affilata di pelare anche le bucce più morbide e gommose senza bloccarsi. Si possono pelare anche carote ormai gommose in frigo da giorni.
