Easy air vents for cabinets
These little round vents were perfect for a custom home theater component cabinet. Just use the right size hole saw and then the pop right in with enough grip to stay. Or, you can put a dab of caulk under to make sure they stay were you want them. The built-in screens were a handy feature as well. The price was right!

Excellent solution albeit a little awkward to install
When installed these worked out fantastic and look great. No bird or hornet is getting through these. They were a bit difficult to install as they were a tight fit and I had to install them overhead. I found that cutting a small notch in the plastic part that goes into the vent hole helps it part compress and squeeze in. They still are extremely snug and there is no chance of them falling out.

Fits good.
Drilled hole through a plastic battery box the was 1/8" thick. Gentle tap with a rubber mallet and it fits tight and secure.

Works Great As PVC Vent Cover
I bought the 2” variety and it perfectly fits inside a 2” schedule 40 PVC pipe. Works great for keeping bugs, birds, squirrels, and insects from making deposits in or living in your sewer vent pipes. Use it with or without adhesive. Very simple, just pops right it. Picture attached to show fit.

good for plumbing roof vents too
I used them as covers for my plumbing (sewer line) roof vents. Debris was getting in and clogged the vent line (needed to auger it out) -- I think the debris included both naturally-occuring plus some donations by squirrels! These should make sure my vents stay clear (while still allowing rain in) but not the pine needles and acorns. Just snapped in my iron pipes (so fit iron and plastic), or when the pipe was a little too big matching the 2" diameter, I gorilla-taped it to the pipe. Ever so much cheaper than the ones made for the purpose, and look great, and easily removed/replaced as necessary.
