I am what I would consider a “confident beginner” to intermediate in my crochet skill. This is a great project to take along, and the sheer amount of yarn is amazing. Would definitely recommend.

I got this for my granddaughter for her birthday she is coming today so we can work on it.

Instructions are difficult, yarn isn’t good quality and finished product is not as expected. Even experienced crochet friends found this project to b confusing.

It didn't come in a box so looks different than the picture but the yarn and the colors are nice.

This is not for beginners as advertised. The videos are not as followable as advertised. Has all the products, but if this is literally your first time crocheting, this should not be your first kit

My set seemed to come with everything needed to make the bag. There are two booklets - one with basic instructions and the other with the instructions for the bag. The instructions look like they can be a bit confusing the way they were written out. I checked the videos and there are only videos for the basic crochet stitches and not for the bag itself. Also, the instructions are for a beige bag which might be confusing for new beginner if you are creating the purple bag. The price is good for this kit, though, so it might be worth a try if you like the outcome of the bag.

I loved this kit. It has everything you need including yarn scissors , markers , 2 different size needles . The yarn is so nice to work with. Directions are pretty easy to follow . If you crochet a tight stitch , use the bigger needle .
