So, to preface, the thing I used before to hold my keys could only hold five before things would start to jab me in the leg from my pocket, and rattle with every step, so when I had to add some more keys, I got sick of it, and needed something new. This solved that problem quite nicely. Most of my typical house key sized keys fit perfectly on their own. I only had one of that size that had a hole that was slightly too tight to fit due to the shape of the hole. However, for all of my keys in the size range typical of, say, padlocks and mailboxes, the holes were too small. My solution was to expand the holes in the keys themselves with a 13/64 drill bit. Everything fit perfectly after that. Though, do be warned, not all keys are equally easy to drill. You may want to expand the hole with a smaller bit first, before going for the final size, depending on the key. Otherwise, just remember to use a screwdriver, or a coin, etc. To hold the back screw still while you finger tighten the other side, otherwise you may have to worry about your screws coming loose over time.

So the manufacturers of this keychain decided to make it nice looking and well built. Then to have the screws fit cleanly and be easy to tighten. Then, they decided “let’s make the key rod wider than just about any key hole so almost no keys will fit!” They succeeded. Out of 10 keys, one of mine fit. In conclusion, this solid key holder is for the person who has a dremel and likes projects. You will need to file pretty much all your keys holes in order to use this item. Nice✅

At first it was working great but then the screw came loose and keys flew to the floor. I placed everything back together again and the screw still started to come loose. I had to constantly tighten the screw to keep it together. More effort than useful.

Although it was built well and would have held up, it never had the opportunity to. Not a single one of my 8 keys fit on the bolt. All are varying key shapes and sizes and many are standard. Not even the most basic of keys fit. (3 are Walmart key kiosk keys) It could have been user error an mis-reading on my part. But despite my enthusiasm, the final use of the product was disappointing.

Did it exactly what it's supposed to do. Easy to put together. Can't imagine the more expensive ones being any nicer.
