Great in my game room!

Very cool!
My pre teen daughters loved this for their room. Works well. It does get pretty warm, so not recommended for younger children. It works as expected. Takes some time to heat up, but even the heat up process is cool because you can watch the wax change as it warms.

Came broken
It arrived with a broken bulb. After replacing the bulb it works fine.

Broken bulb
Two star overall because packaging was unacceptably sub-par. This lava lamp arrived with a broken bulb which was just thrown completely unwrapped & loose into the bottom of the box. The other parts had plastic bags for scratch protection but not the (breakable!) bulb?! I had to buy a package of bulbs on Amazon for an additional $9.00 so that my granddaughter could have a functioning present in time for Christmas. (The bulbs I bought worked & the lava lamp is very nice.) Once the manufacturer rectifies this situation, I will edit my review.
