Great for the job!
Cleans off built up residue off stove top with minimal effort. I've bought several of these over the years. Works great on any smooth surface which has stuff stuck to it! I use it on floors too.

Blade keeps hiding!
I really really wanted to like this. The idea of having a ceramic scraper to get off any cooked on food on the stovetop was very appealing. Seemed easy enough. And it was. However, the blade kept creeping back into the handle as I was scraping. Very annoying to have to push it back out again constantly. Wish there was a lock mechanism on it to prevent the blade from getting pushed back into the handle. Kindda like a turtle head shrinking back into a turtle shell. Not cool.

Difficult to expose blade.
It's a basic razor blade scrapper but VERY difficult to expose blade.(Just had a thought! Maby I'll oil one of them.}
