Had leakage after surgery and Allevyn bandages weren't absorbing quickly enough resulting in major irritation to the surrounding areas The opening was 3.3 cm across and 3.2 deep with undermining so there was significant drainage. I had to find something better and tried Fresinider... The 4X4 was more than adequate to absorb the discharge and the silicone border didn't affect the surrounding flesh. The result was quicker healing. No B.S. these are the best silicone foam dressings that I have used. Even the home nurse couldn't believe how quickly I healed after changing to Fresinider dressings. Am now going to the 3X3 dressing simply because the wound is closing remarkably fast. Best of luck.

It's the perfect size for bedsores that are high on the buttocks. They are quite a bit less expensive than the heart-shaped ones. The heart-shaped bandages are ok but they tend to get soiled easily so they need to be changed more often.

These pads work well.

Have tried different patches. Overall, these have good protection for sacral wounds/bedsore. Works well. Easy for aide to apply. This product is pricey (as are the other brands), but worth the money. Would use again. Hope this helps.

The silicone cushioning offers a protective layer for deep wounds requiring time to heal properly.Also, adhesive border stays in place and good for sensitive skin areas.

i used these on my sons back, with no creams. in one month changing them every other day. he had new tissue form. i will buy again. do need a larger size then 7x7, but you can turn them sideways and use two. just trim off the sticky tape.

These are the perfect size for my toe wound! I do need to use some tape on the edges to make the dressing secure! Much better than the usual pre-packaged band-aid strips!
