I ordered another similiar "HiLetgo 3pcs USB to DC Convert Cable 5V to 12V" the case was transparent which I thought was cool, it didn't have amperage to charge tyt380 uhf radios or Linksys. (Update; HiLetGo put out 8w to barrel but less reliably, meaning wattage varied second by second.)This one listed here at least at the time I ordered them Feb '24 each USB to 12v out out 8w aka 5v 1.5amps in 12v 0.75amps to the barrel.Good product, doesn't heat up, does as advertised.Editing to include that I tested it, and they reliably put out 8w charging a tyt380 uhf radio. I imagine they would go to 10w as per the 2amp 5v (Volts x Amps = Watts) input advertised numbers.Just a thought.P.S. Upon further evaluation, these units only put out 5 watts, I said earlier 8 watts, but it was the draw watts, not that output watts to the barrel plug. Still enough to run a Linksys BEFSR41 despite the original adapter being 9v 1amp or 12v 1amp depending on revision respectively.

Good for what it is. I need a full 1.4amps 24/7 to run my wireless cameras in night mode. Any of this USB style up-step doesn’t provide enough power for the extra energy needed in night mode. I have tried three vendors, they are all good but not for my needs per industry specs. Maybe USB-C in the future.

They never say wether it is positive or negative center. Doesn't work for me, I need negative center

These adapters allow me to stock fewer power supplies.

The cables worked perfectly for the application I had designed.
