It's a great product! It was shipped and packaged really well! Yes, it is side loading. And the binder looks better in person then in the picture. I would recommend this to any MTG fan who needs a good place to store those rare cards.

The sleeves face sideways and don't all face the spine, so if you put this binder in your car or carry it with you in a bag that lets it move around a bit your cards will slide out. Some people seem to prefer this style of binder, but I simply don't get it. It's not like I swing my satchel around like a helicopter when I carry it around, but about half the times I open the binder up, there are loose cards falling out or nearly falling out. I never have this problem with the standard top-loading binders.Putting the individual cards in single sleeves before sliding them into the binder helps, but unless you're double sleeving them or putting multiple cards per slot, they still slide out sometimes.PROS:- Nice and thin- No binder rings to deal with- Looks niceCONS:- Cards slide out regularly- Pretty much requires individual sleeves- Sleeves load on left/right sides, so there's no consistent orientation to place the binder to ensure stability
