Works well and [was] good value.
I've bought about 6 of these so far for different rooms in the house. They all read to within about 0.5 degrees of each other and other thermometers that I have which is pretty good for a domestic device. The hygrometers seem consistent, also. And consistent with my dehumidifier. For the price, they are good units. All of them are still going strong and I have never had to replace a battery (some of them are over a year old).Don't be in a rush for them to turn up from China, though.Update: These were £2.79 when I bought them. I see they have more than doubled in price since then. I don't think I would call them great value any more.

Good for the price
Good, easy to read thermometer. Seems reasonably accurate so far as I can tell. Can't go wrong for the price.

Budget hygrometer.
Had this for well over a year now and it's still working fine. Even though the response is a bit slow, it still gives an accurate representation of temperature and humidity and if you`re only looking and ambient changes, you don't really need an immediate response. The case feels plasticy and cheap but this doesn't really matter because it is not an item you will be handling very often.Overall, it is cheap, does the job and still does its job after a year without changing the battery once.

The star rating does not really mean anything as I received the wrong product. I ordered COLEMETER Hygrometer Wet Humidity Thermometer Temperature Meters and received the KTJ TA318 Digital LCD Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer Hygrometer Humidity Time Meter for Home (see it yourself in the product link), this wrong product has the addition of and external reading, taken with a probe on the end of a cable. I don't know why Amazon keep writing and asking for further reviews from me as Amazon's e-mailed me claiming it was the correct product and this came with an attachment from their solicitors threatening me that I should shut up or be taken to court if I say anything they don't like on their website. Just what can you do when someone can not see the difference in a product and that they have done something wrong? So - I need to keep my mouth shut, but it has to be said that I expected instead an apology and a free, correct meter. For the price it cost it would surely have been the best way to keep a customer I feel and more important - the right thing to do. Such a shame as I have lost all faith with Amazon now which had previously been held in high regard. The delivery and collection service is second to none, just as well it seems!

What I like is the clear temperature as well as humidity display ...
I have bought the following thermomenter/hygrometers:Climate Buddy Thermometer-Hygrometer Air Condition MonitorTFA Indoor Digital Thermo-Hygrometer - Multi-ColouredHygrometer Wet Humidity Thermometer Temperature MeterLCD Digital Temperature Humidity Meter ThermometerThis was for various presents at Christmas, including for friends/family who have houses they rent out, in an era when many tenants create mould in their rented homes by never ventilating.Of these, my preference was LCD Digital Temperature Humidity Meter Thermometer – currently showing as only £2.89 each. What I like is the clear temperature as well as humidity display and the good stand. It is important to know the temperature to understand the humidity level i.e. if you let warm, moist air into a colder room then the moisture may condense. Similarly, it may be colder by the floor than higher up in a room.Of the 6 of these I bought, one was faulty, but the company refunded me immediately. It looks like the current sellers may be different people.TFA Indoor Digital Thermo-Hygrometer - Multi-ColouredThis is more expensive and gives you max/min if you want it but I didn't, personally, find that worth the extra. The stand is not very good.Climate Buddy Thermometer-Hygrometer Air Condition MonitorThis is also more expensive and, although initially very simple to understand – it is more graphic – the temperature display is much smaller, so difficult to work out the implications of the humidity level without peering. It also has to be hung as it has no back stand, so is not able to be moved around the room/house.Hygrometer Wet Humidity Thermometer Temperature MeterPretty cheap with both necessary displays but not a very good stand and more upright than the LCD Digital Temperature Humidity Meter Thermometer so more inclined to fall over.Accuracy:These are cheap home/not scientific instruments. They all seemed to be fairly similar in their temperature readings (.5 or 6 of a degree looks a lot but we don't usually measure that accurately at home.)They tend to allow themselves +/- 5% accuracy on the humidity – which is quite a lot as they could show 10% difference from each other. In reality they didn't/don't vary that much. I have marked one of the Hygrometer Wet Humidity Thermometer Temperature Meter s as showing lower than the rest as I can't see how to calibrate it at all.Of the 3 Climate Buddy Thermometer-Hygrometer Air Condition Monitor s that I bought, I couldn't get one to calibrate to be similar to the rest by doing it the way they said. So I cheated and just turned the screw until it was in line with all the rest. At least it does allow you to calibrate it.So I have realised now why my eyes get dry in winter. It shows the air is too dry for comfort. Time to boil a few kettles or hang up the washing without the dehumidifier!
