Works very well
I had a screen get damaged during a bad wind day. Pine cone knocked a 5” hole in a screen on one out building on the property.I ran across this product. Had the hole repaired in minutes.This screening is strong. The backing peels off easily. Cutting to size is simple and easy.I did a double layer inside and outside of the hole.I have high confidence the repair will hold.

A good fix for small screen repairs
The web page on Amazon for this product has a very good and carefully written description. It notes that the screen repair is not invisible and not ventilated, and if that is not ok with you don't buy it. But there are many cases in screen repair that one doesn't mind this, especially small jobs where you wouldn't really notice a repair. I unrolled this product and tested it, and it seems a very easy way to repair small tears. The roll has strong adhesive on one side, backed by a clear material that you peel off. You just clean and trim you screen problem and then cover the tear or hole with the screen repair tape cut a little wider than the tear. It seems to me a good way to fix small problems! I started to rate this 4 instead of 5 stars because of the lack of invisibility and ventilation, but since the vendor clearly states this on the Amazon page felt perhaps that is unfair. So, is it 5 stars for all screen repairs - no. But is it 5 stars for its intended purpose of quick and easy fixes for small problems - I think yes.

You Have To Clean The Screen
I’m not going to clean the screen to put this on. I’m afraid if I do it may tear more and I don’t have time to sit and clean screen. As much stickyness that’s on the tape, it should stick. Some stuck and some didn’t.

Useful
I've used this to repair the mesh on our babies portable playpen and the window mesh that the stinking birds keep plucking at. It's not so great when only taping one side definitely make sure you tape both sides to maximize usefulness.
