I love the product - but can’t buy it anymore. They sent me a lighter color than I ordered , but it will do for winter.

I love Bare minerals POWDER foundation(s), their liquid? not so much... (I BOUGHT THIS IN THE COLOR 'PORCELAIN'"Hello. Before I begin on this let me tell you about myself; I am Italian, and I have very pale olive skin. I have NO pink/red undertones in my skin. Just gold. Being very pale with yellow undertones in my skin makes shopping for a foundation can be very difficult, especially liquid foundations, as liquid foundations that are very pale tend to have pink undertones. Because when you think of "pale" most people think of someone who is of northern european descent, like an irish, nordic, or russian person, or an albino. So naturally many "pale" foundations have pink undertones.I normally use bare minerals powder foundation, which is called MATTE spf15 in the color "fair" (lightest they have) and it suits me perfectly as it has no dominant pink or yellow undertones, but is very neutral and can match any pale skin type.I heard about bare minerals making a liquid foundation and got excited, bare minerals has always been my go-to makeup brand for everything. I stopped using liquid foundations because most of the ones in my very pale, ghostly skin tone have dominant pink undertones, but bare minerals is usually very good when it comes to matching almost every skin tone, so I figured I might as well try out the new liquid foundation.excited when it arrived at my door, I open it, shake the bottle, test it on my wrist and to my shock it was dark (on me anyways) and had a strong pink/red undertone. at first I thought "well maybe it will look different on my face."So I apply it on my face, it feels nice, I blend it out evenly, but no. still dark, still pink, and also it's difficult to blend. no matter how hard I tried it was very streaky, and you could easily tell I have liquid foundation on my face.I'm very good at blending makeup, very few people can even tell when I'm wearing foundation, but this was just horrible.I remember that bare minerals products take a while to set on the skin, so I wait, I watch TV, I play a video game, but no. it's still visible, still dark, still horrible. it was honestly a waste of money.So please, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF YELLOW UNDERTONES, ARE OF SOUTHERN EUROPEAN OR ASIAN DESCENT.REMINDER: I BOUGHT THIS IN THE LIGHTEST COLOR AVAILABLE AND IT WAS STILL VERY DARK AND VERY PINK/RED.

I'm always wary of ordering make-up online as you can never quite tell what the color is but this worked out perfectly! The product is easy enough to get out of the bottle and spreads easily. It can be a full or lighter coverage foundation, which is great. However, I used to only use my fingers for application, which meant I used more product and had a fuller coverage. When I used the make-up brush they advertise with it (which was given to me by a friend), I was able to use far less product, which gave me just the right amount of coverage, especially for the summer heat. The main reason I'm not giving it five stars is the weird, dirt-ish smell that it had for the first 5+ applications. It seems to have gone away (or I'm used to it) but it is hard to use a foundation with such a strong smell, especially since it's right under your nose! Despite this, I've really liked this foundation and it hasn't seemed to irritate my skin in the least, which is always a plus!

For all of those out there with dry skin considering not buying this due to ba reviews I would not listen. This is my favorite foundation ever. I'm not typically dry so I can use it by itself. But during fall and winter my skin gets very dry. I am still able to use this because I have stolen a trick from Jaclyn Hills playbook. I add liquid illuminizer to the foundation during the dry months. Usually one drop does the trick!!!! I mix it in the back of my hand and apply with a brush. Plus I use a luminating primer. It's all what you are using it with to make any foundation perfect for you. So when I'm dry I start with lumi primer. Add a drop of liquid illuminizer to foundation and apply. It's perfect for me. I cannot find any other foundation that matches my pale skin as well as this one. So I am more than happy adding a product to my routine make my skin look perfect with this foundation.

First of all, I really appreciate how this product gives my skin a glow and is perfect for the areas where I need light or minimal coverage but could use some brightening. It is a great shade for my very fair skin and manages to leave it feeling light and as if I'm not wearing anything. I can't use it alone because I do have adult acne to a rather annoying degree, however, it works as a perfect primer for the powder foundation/concealer and I use it all over before applying the powder on trouble areas and using a darker powder to deepen the color on my cheekbones. I've gotten a lot of compliments since I purchased this so I am definitely a fan.

I have been a very loyal bareMinerals user for almost as long as the company has in selling their products. This means I am now getting of the age where powders tend to sit into fine lines. But having been spoiled by the “no make up feel” of the original powder version for a decade, going back to traditional foundations was really not something I was looking forward to return using. I’m so glad that bareMinerals decided to make a cream version of their product.

This is perfect for me. I use a couple of drops spread across my cheek, nose and chin. No evidence that I'm wearing make up at all, but my skin looks great. I have very fair skin and was a little worried that the drops looked orangy, but when spread on the skin they just blend in and match.

Despite ordering porcelian (my colour in all other foundations), and it being a brightening foundation, it was still too dark for my skin tone. Also proved hard to get out of the bottle, and had next to no coverage.

Smells funny, and feels greasy. Disappointed as the powder is fantastic. I also think it's not worth the money at all

Lo uso da anni. È un ottimo fondotinta. Leggero, si lavora con facilità e non nuoce alla pelle. Ne bastano poche gocce. Bisogna agitare brevemente la boccetta prima di prelevare il prodotto. Lo ho steso con il blender, con il pennello, con le mani: dà sempre ottimi risultati.Non va bene però, credo, per chi vuole un effetto molto coprente perché ho l'impressione che anche usandone molto non si ottenga una copertura importante.Da beauty-addicted posso dire che costicchia ma vale ciò che costa e che sicuramente lo preferisco alla relativa versione in polvere che non mi ha entusiasmata.
