Beautiful knife. Well balanced, easy to use, very sharp. Handles sourdough bread with ease which is my main use for it. Can be sharpened. The handle shape gives real knuckle clearance and gives good pressure for cutting. This knife was originally my second choice I’m so glad the other was out of stock as I truly LOVE this knife. A dream to use! The only slight negative is that the Damascus pattern is not very bright, however this will vary for each knife and it still goes well with my set of individually bought Japanese Damascus knives.

I love this knife. It comes in a beautiful presentation box so can be given as a gift, if you can bear to part with it. It has lovely details such as the embossed logo on the blade and the beautiful copper pin rivet in the handle. It comes with a protective sheath that has a retaining pin, which is a good safety feature.I never realised what a difference a good serrated knife could make - never again will my slices of bread be wedge shaped! The slices I have cut with this knife are the neatest I have ever cut before as this knife doesn’t tear or squash the bread like my other cheaper knives do. It is also great for cutting very thin slices of tomato, cucumber and other salad stuffs for sandwiches.The knife is so well balanced that it feels like it has been custom made for me and is really comfortable to use. It wouldn’t be out of place in a professional kitchen so I’m very happy to have it in my home kitchen. A very stylish product.
