As every book before this one, this has been another roller coaster read. With the tension and edge of your seat action it was hard to put this down.

It’s a book by Jack carr…..buy it!Good read, flowy and full of the usual action and descriptions. Just as good as the first book. Already looking forward to the next in series.

At first I kept thinking ‘this is a James Reece novel - but where’s the action’. I almost put the book down but was glad I got past the first 25%It was well worth it!!

Still reading this so just let me say that it's a roller coaster of a read emotional, graphic violence and a really great storyline I can't wait to finish it

Another one bites the dust! I enjoyed all the novel's as they blend the perfect in my opinion mix of details and action! If this is your first time reading Jack Carr don't wait go out and buy the rest

Have read them all and really enjoyed the first ones. The later books have been getting more and more out there in their story lines. I know its fiction but would have expected them to be a little more grounded considering the authors experiences.Its not that I didnt enjoy the read but at times I thought I was flicking through a survivalists catalogue.... you need this shirt, you need these boots, these glasses.... or your not up to the job at hand.I can understand all that describing the armourer bits as thats all the stuff us mere mortals have very little idea on...... part of why we enjoy the books so much.Story lines are interesting and I enjoy the intergration of bits back to previous bits.This isnt a negetive review just a heads up to awareness for the next one.

Was a little disappointed with parts of the ending ... but I do love revenge best served cold !

This book is everything a man loves. Good tools, good plot, Good wining the bad.It is a hope in these dark days. It is a hope that good man, with a good cause will win.It is not naive - and this is good, The good man of every country are tools. That used and thrown out. Yet these are very trained tools. With good values, values of life, family and honor.There is a lot of promotion of the tools, being friends with many of the brands - to me fair play. I did mark some of the brands mentioned, and smiled about others I already have.The story line - gives a glimmer of hope.Intentionally I avoid giving here - but to me Reece - as fictional as he is, and as based on real persons as he is. Definitely a reason to train harder. Push more. Not to stop. Being balanced - it is very easy only to go the range, or the gym or doing that one thing. It takes thinking to keep the balance, between all the things you don’t want to do.I know these people really live that life, lets strive to be the best we can.

Definitively one of the best took series' I have read and one which has left a lasting impression on who I am. I don't know what the future holds for me, but thank you Commander Carr. You opened my eyes and inspired me to be stronger, regardless of which path I choose. I pray I have the strength to make the right decisions always.

Seventh book in the series. It can surely be read stand alone given its end to end storyline. But part of reading the series is to learn, understand and follow the struggles and drives of the main character, so I recommend reading the books in order. As for the book, I’m just so impressed by Jack Carr’s research, knowledge and way of writing. He says that he’s always mindful about the time we readers invest in the book and his work, and it definitely shows in the way that each sentence adds to the story and flow. Needless to say, I just love the books and as soon as I reach the last page I’m hoping that the next one comes out soon. This is a must read for anyone into the genre of political thrillers. Thanks a lot and great work Jack Carr!
