As the title suggests, when I first tried to slide the guard in, it was jammed solid between fork and tyre. Only when I really started to pull it in hard with 8 cable ties* using 2 opposed pairs of pliers, did it allow the wheel to rotate freely. OK so I’m using chunky 2.4” Trail King tyres with midrange 100mm “comfort” forks, but effectively, the tyre becomes a “mud pump”, scraping the mud from under the guard. This is all theory since I just fitted them tonight, but it looks very promising, hopefully the mud will not stick to the greasy slippery plastic too well. * - yes, eight (6 supplied) but needed another two in the top “corners” of the fork hoop to pull it away from the chunky edge tyre lugs.Applied some heavy 1.5mm clear stick-on film to the forks/hoop to prevent chafing by the cable ties, which probably will happen. Great product, expensive for what it is though.

The gaurd fits very close to the wheel stopping must of the spray and mud from the front wheel especially if you have wide tyres on your bike. A bit expensive for a plastic gaurd.

No more muddy face! It has revolutionised bike and kit cleaning! Got slightly bent in the car with the wheel off but still works fine.

Good quality only thing I have to complain about is in picture writing is printed as white but it’s all black instead the whit writing was the only reason I picked this on e and payed more for it but it isn’t white

Does a good job keeping the face clear, but more importantly for me keep mud away from steerer tube and fork seals.Good investment.
