Jebao CBF Series Pressurized Filter with UV (4000-gallon)

I am very pleased with my filter. Was kinda worried because of the bad reviews. I hooked up this filter to my pump for my 2000 gallon koi pond. Before I hooked it up the water was a brown green and had tried other filters and algae killer but nothing worked and it stayed this way untill i hooked this filter up. Within a week i could see the bottom of the pond and within 2 weeks I could see every detail. Looking back at the bad reviews I realize that the majority of them was because of user error.I would definitely recommend this filter and would purchase againUPDATE .. 6 months of non stop filtering...this filter is still running like new and is still keeping my pond clear. UV light still working and i have had zero issues. WHAT AN AWESOME FILTER !!

This is a great filter; very easy to clean which is what I wanted. Had problem with UV light, but one e-mail and they sent another right away. Thanks guys. Happy with purchase.

I have a new approx 1500 gal koi pond and realized a mechanical filter doesn’t cut it so I bought this. This killed the algae within 48 hours, it clears dirt and debris well too. Problem is it has to be cleaned every week or two or it stops working well. It comes with a handle to pull up and squeeze the filter when backwashing but it doesn’t work well. I end up removing the entire filter from the container and pressure washing it to get all the dirt out.

Update DO NOT BUY A JEBAO!!!! I contacted customer service and they never responded so Amazon did give me a refund.I was so excited to get this. After I figured out the stupid bio disks it worked like a charm. My pond was so clean. Well—- that lasted about a week. Went outside and my pond was almost drained . A 3500 gallon pond!!!! Thank god it had enough water left so my koi were fine. The locking bracket that goes around the lid and the can leaks or should I say gushes. I am a week outside of my return window so Amazon won’t help me. They gave me customer service email to contact jebao. Great no response what so ever.

Great filter, installed two on my koi pond and they are working quite well. Using 790gph pumps on each with no pressure issue at all. Both pumps sit in my skimmer along with my main 8000gph main waterfall pump.

So far so good, UV light really helped with clearing my pond!

If you plan on really cleaning this you will have to open it. backwash works but not well. Now that you have it open, good freaking luck closing it again. also good luck on getting it to not leak. If you want a good one that won't leak or explode buy AQUASCAPE. Their customer service is great because I got the wrong one and they fixed it right away. The reason you are looking at this is because its cheap, just keep that in mind when purchasing.

Makes having a pond alot less maintenance..more enjoying.
