Beautiful bear - this will be a treasured friend for many years!

This is a beautifully made bear and it compliments the books and movies well. I would like to buy three more but the last time I was on the site it said that they were "unavailable at this time."

My wife, and her 2nd graders, loved having this bear while reading Paddington Bear books!

My son has been listening to Paddington on audiobook for well over a year and has recently started to read the books on his own. He absolutely loves this bear! His sisters came to me a few weeks before his 8th birthday with this $60 Paddington Bear Amazon listing. They asked to split the cost and purchase the bear for their brother. I was a bit hesitant to let them spend so much on a stuffed animal, but they were so happy and excited. I think they were looking forward to their brother's birthday more than he was!!My son loves the bear and sleeps with him every night. There are only a few changes I would like to see made to make this stuffed Paddington more snuggable. His hat and coat are made out of thick stiff felt. My son immediately wanted them off. The coat is easy on/off, but the hat is sewn on tightly. I have not allowed him to remove it...yet. I know the hat will only stay on the bears head of it is sewn down. The bears fur is very soft, but he is firmly stuffed. Not very squishable. His ears are back and super cute, however hidden completely under the stiff red hat. My son wants me to remove and reattach the "please take care of this bear" multiple times a day. It would be night if it was attached around his neck with elastic cord for easy on/off.Was he worth $60...hmm Probably not, but he is exactly what my girls were looking for and one of the few available here in early 2021. Most of all my son absolutely loves him.
