High Life Medium Pomade

I like this. I use it to build up a base in my hair and use High Life Heavy on top of it to hold my hair down. It's a bit greasy for my liking (think more greasy than Murray's.) In combo with their Heavy pomade it basically becomes dry in my hair. I ride motorcycles and it doesn't leave residue in the padding of my helmet which is awesome. I like High Life's use of jojoba and emu oil instead of lanolin because it becomes dry to the touch instead of greasy 100% of the time.

This pomade blows my mind. I've been using high life heavy and voodoo brew OG (you should really look into those two awesome pomades) Out of necessity I searched for a non petroleum based pomade, very harsh on my scalp. I did not get that with any of the high life products they all wash out easier then any medium to heavy petroleum product I've used have a higher melting point and go into the hair a little easier(Win Win Win). It seems that when it comes to pomade that it doesn't get much better than this. P.S. I very much recommend ordering from The Grease Shop and get the expedited shipping. This product has the texture of blended vaseline and wax when applied. It tends to then stiffen just a bit, giving a very flexible and slightly "tacky" hold. Gives great hold without being stiff. The hold fades over the course of the day into a still-styled-but-messier look. Never fully washes out, but I don't care. The emu and other oils soak into your hair and seem to strengthen and soften it. I've tried many products in the past, but I'm sticking with this one from now on.

I got a free sample of this and liked it a lot so I made the purchase. However, the can seemed much different from the sample I got.This is REALLY sticky. When I put my finger in it, it comes out all stringy and it’s pretty hard to spread through my hair. Also, it’s really difficult to get it out of your hair and off your hands. Even after a shower, it is still in my hair.Might be better meant for maintaining a mohawk or something.

I have purchased this twice and am very pleased with it. Definitely has a super hold and will stay in your hair through a couple washes, but I have pretty thick hair and will apply a few dabs most mornings.

I was looking for a product that would allow me to slick my hair back, and also be able to hold. This stuff did that, but it also was impossible to wash it out. I had to do a deep shampoo twice every time in order to get it out. Also, every time I would style, it ended up taking forever to wash it from my hands.

Have tried many different dressings. This one last multiple days. Always looks like it had just been put on,, but did not give my hair the plastered down look many other produces do. Very pleased.

It's like putting just wax into your hair. I don't know who would enjoy using this it's like glue. It will pull your hair out and is hard to wash out.

Ich habe nun schon einige Pomaden ausprobiert und war bislang besonders mit DAX green & gold recht zufrieden. Diese Premiumversion aus dem Hause DAX ist zwar fast doppelt so teuer aber dafür tatsächlich nochmal um einiges besser.Die Konsistenz ist mittelfest und wenn sie einmal warm ist, lässt sie sich auch gut verarbeiten(Fön verwenden!).Der Geruch ist nicht so aufdringlich und was mir persölich sehr gefällt - ein eher dezenter Glanzfaktor.Der Halt ist einwandfrei und somit in der Summe der Eigenschaften klar zu empfehlen !

It's as workable as road tar and smells like a pina colada. Nothing special and no better than anything commonly available in DM.
