Update: the item really was faulty. Seller arranged the return and replaced it with brand new after investigating the first item. It was all hassel free. Taking down one star because it makes lot of tic tic sound which is a bit annoying.Old review:I bought it after looking at so many positive reviews and high star rating. So not sure it's my item that is defective or it's the product itself. It autocuts after running few minutes even when room temperature is way below than temperature setting of heater. Also, the heater fins are not even that hot for autocut due to oil temperature. I could put my whole palm on the fin (my hand are normal, not heat resistant). I have smart meter at home, so I know when heater is running and when it is not. Also, return policy is useless.. it says that we have to arrange return by ourselves. Why in the world we should pay for returning a defective piece? And what is the guarantee that after receiving the item seller will refund full price and shipping cost? My suggestion is.. avoid this item. I am stuck with this defective piece. Total waste of money.

I read the previous reviews and one said that this heats the room very quickly and it gets so hot. I’m not so sure. It’s really nicely made, looks good, love that it’s digital (can’t use the remote as it doesn’t seem to work) as you can easily see what settings to use etc. But, it’s just not heating up the room as much as I’d like. I have a four fin 1,000kw radiator which actually does heat the room up and it gets super hot but I’m using that elsewhere. I was hoping this would be twice as powerful. A worry is that this is going to be very expensive to run as you can only use the highest setting (2,500kw) now that the weather is dropping down to single digits/minus.UPDATE: This was not a good buy—it’s really been put to the test this past week and it hasn’t faired well at all. Anything below 5 temp-wise this heater won’t help! I have had to double check that it’s actually on, that’s how bad it is in this weather. Waste of money, seriously.

In my living room I have a fireplace and a small radiator, I end up losing my fireplace because of a gas leak so I had to do a gas pipe bypass directly to the boiler, after that my living room is a bit cold as the small radiator not heating up enough, this oil filled radiator does the trick, the running cost it low, I set it on 1000 watts thats the lowest setting then put the thermostat on max, it keep the room warm and comfy its worth the money and looks really good as well 👍🏾

We had problems with this unit initially and thought we needed to return it. With the Suppliers support we stuck with it and it seems to now work really well. It’s a compact unit, neater that previous models we have used and easy to set up the digital controller.

Great portable heater. Heats up really quick. We have electric heaters in our flat but they are useless, takes ages to heat up and even on max still cold in the flat! So we got this one as a addition to the wall heaters. Room is nice and warm now, perfect! Good buy for the price, would recommend it. Probably going to buy 2nd one for other rooms and use them instead of wall heaters...
