Hubby loves this. Price was a little steep though

I bought this as a gift for OH as he used to draw a lot when he was younger but stopped. I was hoping he’d pick it up again in lockdown with this as a starter. It’s such good value for money and he was really impressed. It’s small, the sketchpad is only A5 size, but it’s handy to throw in a bag and be off out the house with everything you need.

Package useful for travelling (in car) .. cards/pad enclosed a bit of a disappointment ..however have replaced pencils and pad with own items and now good to go .. therefore think its a tad expensive for what's enclosed in the case.

Fabulous set to get started. I got back into drawing while in lockdown, it is a great starter and I have enjoyed using. I look forward to being able to pack it in a bag when out on hikes. Great quality

I love Derwent and have loads of their products. This item is however not great, its badly designed as where the pencils fit into a little pocket the tips stick into the plastic and will eventually make a hole. I'm surprised as Derwnt products are normally really good

I am disappointed with this item a d wish I'd bought the cheaper 14 piece versionThe wallet is quite cheap looking and is very plasticy the sketch pad is NOT as advertised and is totally uselessIt's not the spiral bound 160 GSM pad advertised but a far inferior 110 GSM glued together pad which is virtually impossible to use as I won't lie flat the paper being poor quality won't stand up to water and pills really badly when the least bit wetThe pencils are OK but the cheaper set seems better and there's a water brush included both of the charcoal pencils had broken so had to be sharpened this was not without its difficulties either as the end kept snappingTo be able to use the wallet as intended I have had to change the sketch pad and now it's not secured in the wallet at allI can't be bothered to return it but I expected better from DerwentGet the cheaper 14 piece set as the "upgrade" isn't worth bothering with**update**I've dropped this set a further two stars the case has started to come unstitched I said before it was be very cheap lookingThe charcoal.pencil are poor quality and break very easily ,the "wash pencils " are also quite poor and are not very soluble, Im beginning to the the whole think is a a white elephant and I wish I'd never bought it looks like I'll have to replace the charcoal as as well as the Was pencils, as I've already mentioned the sketch pad is next to useless ,By the time I've done that I've paid a lot of money for a mediocre plastic sketching wallet and a few pencils !!!!

Not accurate photo, the pad shows it’s held with a wired binder when in fact it came as the other version which is gel binder so you can’t flip the pad open easily so it’s flat on the surface. I got it for that specific reason so I had to send it back. Other items looked good though.

Nice travel set as a gift for my son. Only negative is finding replacement paper.
