My son likes these for trout

If you are new to fly fishing or just looking to add some assortment to your box, these flies are great. I have fished each type and they are fish catchers.

I caught a lot of cool fish on these (20" Small Mouth Bass and Bowfin) . Great because they're cheap and it won't break the bank if you lose any. But, keep in mind, they will disintegrate after about 20-30 casts. They're - obviously - priced appropriately.—-Update company reached out to me and offered to replace the flys without me asking! Nice assortment, but the quality is poor. There was excess glue on every fly and it looks like a 3 year old tied them. The fact that they’re $10 for the quantity and variety is what still gives this 3 stars

Purchased for my husband and grandson to use with their new fly rods.

Fall apart the first time you use them. Plus the bigger flies have so much glue they just might cut the dishes mouth because they are so stiff and hard.

These flies are pretty clumsily tied and aggressively sized, but for the price I suppose you can't complain.I used them while I was getting back into fly fishing and I was working on my cast, so that I didn't end up losing good quality and expensive flies into trees and snags.Might be worth it if you're just starting out. They'll definitely catch fish in the right situation.
