Arrived cracked but still sounds good...will probably need to get another one as will probably break the rest of the way in my kids backpack

Great for little kids
These recorders sound great for the price, are pretty sturdy, and one-piece is great for kids. I bought a green one and a yellow one for my two toddlers. They love them and are pretty rough on them. That being said, the green one cracked in half after being dropped from two feet onto a ceramic tile floor, after only two weeks. So ...I'm buying another one or my kids will go nuts fighting over the yellow one!

I love the price and my kids love it but what I didn’t really like it she dropped it twice and it cracked

Great deal, but shrill
The price and durability are great, but the sound is pretty shrill. I got it for toddler grand daughter, who loves it and is learning rudimentary finger & breath control from just using it as a noise maker. The shrill tone makes it pretty much impossible for everyone else in the room to enjoy without hearing protection. Still glad I got it, and content to wear earplugs. :)

They work, maybe too well
Does what it’s supposed to... drive parents crazy with that screeching for hours while they practice for school. His teacher says he’s getting better. Hopefully we will hav some hearing left.
