I can say I when I ordered this I wasn't sure about it being leather. I have to say I received this today and it truly exceeds my expectations. My daughter has really gotten into jewelry making and I was looking for other options for her to use for bracelets and necklaces. This is a nice pice of leather cord. It will certianly hold up well to heavier pieces and be great to use for those who may have allergies to different metals.When she runs out of this I will certianly be purchasing more.
