Just now reaching 6 months of ownership - which I believe is a fair amount of time to give a product before writing a review.Initially - Pretty solid mattress, arrived on time, expanded to the 11" as stated, pretty comfy for a Sub 300 dollar mattress...4.5ish months in until this morning - HUGE sinkage in the middle of the mattress, not even sure if that is how to properly describe it, but its as if the foam/gel/whatever is like broken which creates a massive sinkhole...which has progressively gotten worse, leading me to have to sleep very close to the edges vs the middle - and now both edges where I rest my head on each side are sinking as well...I am a 6ft, 200lb male - so, its not like I have some massive weight on this thing - and it is setup on very solid, real wood, platform bed which provides a great deal of stability...I have sent Amazon an email - still waiting on the response, but...at this point, the mattress is basically useless as I can't sleep anywhere on it anymore...Update - Amazon customer service is one of the best - they are working with me on finding a solution that works with "my schedule" - thus, Mattress still gets the 1 star, but Amazon gets 5 stars

My mattress arrived very quickly. Nicely boxed. When I opened the box my mattress was in plastic and rolled up. After cutting through the plastic, I could both see and hear it start expanding. There was a slight scent which was to be expected but nothing terrible and I have no doubt it'll be gone within a day. It's only been about 10min but it's already expanded quite a bit, I can definitely tell there's more room to grow though. In pics you'll notice no boxspring that's because we have family coming to visit and while they're here me and my boyfriend will be sleeping on it but after they leave it's going to become my son's first big boy bed.UPDATE: Ok, so we've had the mattress set up and I've been sleeping on it for about a week now. It's fully "inflated" and comes in at about 8.5 inches instead of 9" but no big deal. Its super comfy. My previous mattress was also memory foam and I got from a warehouse for about $400 but this one beats it in comfortability. I would definitely recommend this mattress both because it's so comfy and it's sooo easy on the wallet

I waited a while to write my review, about a month to see if my first few nights of knock-out cold sleep would change. I spent weeks scrounging through mattress after mattress, review after review. I have multiple spine injuries in my low back and neck, hip and shoulder injuries, and a sleep disorder. My last mattress was a 17 inch $2000 mattress from the local super furniture store, and it often left me feeling achy, and it's plush construction left me never wanting to get out of bed. (On top of only lasting 4 years. Ouch to my wallet!) I can say only positive things about this mattress. It's cool every night when I crawl into bed, and just like my first night sleeping, I laid there and could NOT believe I didn't feel any low back pain. It provides support in all the right places, as well as providing give when I toss over onto my side. I will say it did take my body some getting used to the memory foam, but I have no regrets about making this purchase. And for $200! That's a tenth of what I paid for a luxury mattress, so even if I only get a few years of sleep on this, I will still have no regrets. Even my pup loves sleeping on it! As for my sleep disorder, my sleep quality has improved immensely, and I'm even remembering dreams, not waking up feeling like I was running from my nightmares all night. (Side note: optimal sleeping temp in the bedroom is about 69-71 degrees, so if possible, cool it down and even that will make a night and day difference in your slumber.)

This mattress is everything good that has been written in other reviews EXCEPT it is NOT cool sleeping. At least not for me. I own 3 other memory foam mattresses and this one is the hottest of the bunch. I have to move around to get off the hot spot repeatedly at night. Other than that, the foam is a nice firmness and even though it is only 7", I don't bottom out on it and I am a bigger guy. If you don't have a problem with getting hot at night, then I highly recommend it. If you are a hot natured sleeper like me, I would keep looking. I wish I had not bought this. I just spent another miserable night on this unbelievably hot mattress and I’m exhausted from tossing and turning trying to get a cool spot on the mattress. I’m downgrading my review to two stars. The description for this mattress specifically stated that it is cool and has good air flow, this is a lie. I’m going to see if I can return it. Edit: I am going to upgrade to 4 stars based on the companies customer service. The offered me two very satisfactory options which I won't go into detail about because I found a bamboo mattress pad to go on top that relieved most of the heat issues for me, so I am keeping it.

I have has this bed since February of 2017, and so far it's been great!! But.... We had been trying to take off the cover for the mattress so we could wash it and was was not able to see we had to cut it off, and if was fine for a few nights. I had been laying on the bed and hadn't realized that the sheet wasn't fully covering the bed and I was extremely itchy and started breaking out on my neck and back where I had been touching the uncovered portion of the bed. The bed contains fiberglass throughout it and it says no where on the description of the bed about it. Very disappointed

Upfront - I would say that I love this mattress. It is very comfortable. I need a mattress that is plush but also firm - which is not easy to find - and this one fits the bill perfectly. My kids usually end up in it with me but I easily crawl out of bed/over them without waking them which is a huge bonus. I am docking one star because it has been up for a couple months now and there is just lightest hint of a chemical odor. I am more sensitive to smells (my husband smells nothing) and I am prone to migraines, but the smell is not strong enough to trigger a headache so I think that most people would be fine with it.
