A functional insert for between the front seats and console. The material is mostly black plastic, but the part that shows is tan leatherette that matches okay with the cream-colored leather of my Outback. A strip of hard foam keeps the plastic that goes down between the seat and console from chafing the side of the seat. The added storage provided by this item is enough for a wallet, a pad of paper, and a phone. The drinking bottle area is big enough for a smaller water bottle, but in my case the center console has larger bottle holders, so I'm good with that, and with this product. This product impinges on your seats a couple inches, so wider thighs will press against it slightly. I'll be doing an out-of-towner next week and will come back here if anything goes amiss.

What an odd experience. We grabbed this a as part of Amazon's Vine program. When we ordered, the listing was for a completely different product. Subsequent to ordering, the listing, description, and photos were changed to what we received.....an item we wouldn't have ordered and don't have a use for.We can't really review the item fairly because we can't imagine using it, but I will say that it is not very well made. The stitching and materials are poor, and I would estimate its actual value at maybe five or six dollars at most.
