In my opinion, there is nothing to not like about this clay. I am a newbie and use this to put in to moulds for crafting, I've also used it for shaping objects by hand for said crafts. I've not used any other kind of clay and don't think I will as this works fabulously. The clay is quite wet and sticky when first out of the packet but this goes away after you've worked a piece in your hands for a bit and find that if layering the clay as in creating a 3D type image then it does take a few days before it's completely dry and ready to paint and varnish. You sometimes do get little cracks as with all clays so I've read but it is easily rectified with a wet finger, some little imperfections can be dealt with very easily just by smoothing out with a dry or a wet finger. I have found this to be incredibly easy to manage. Also, I find that this clay gives you plenty of working time without having to wrap the packet up every time you take a piece, I really think that some worry needlessly about this. Over all, I'm very happy with this make of clay and feel it's good value for money. Also, the clay when fresh out of the packet is grey and turns white as it dries, I particularly like this as I'm a newbie, it's a great gauge on how this clay behaves. Lastly, some reviewers have said that the clay has a strong smell to it fresh from the pack and also when dried, I personally haven't experienced this - ( I've bought three packs now ) - yes there is a faint smell but nothing strong, offensive or overpowering.

This is fantastic modelling clay to use, easy to mould and sculpt with. It dries really well and can be painted a varnished easily.

air tight storage : when it arrived it was definitely very very air tight and the clay was amazingly soft but a little bit tough but nothing that a little needing couldn’t fixmess : it’s not messy for me personally at all as I use acrylic sheets and my table to work with the clay and it hasn’t left any stains and is very easy to clean/remove and it hasn’t made too much of a mess on my clothing eithereasy to use : I will say that as a beginner it is very beginner friendly and it’s quite easy to work with however it can get very messy and if your hands aren’t moist/damp then it may dry a bit whilst you’re working with it which makes it have quite a few cracks so if this was something you was doing as a hobby it would be great but if you wanted something that was absolutely perfect with no cracks then maybe this isn’t the best clay for you but for beginners like me it’s amazing 😁 I’ll definitely be buying again !Overall it was a great buy, it’s just a bit quick at drying hence the 4 stars but other than that it’s perfect

This is an unbeatable product for both quality and price. I was working over a period of 14 days and kept the product wrapped in cling film in the fridge, absolutely perfect every time I went to it ..it dried very quickly and fresh adhered well to dried, which was a concern I had, also was working on a very small figurine of less than two inches tall so inherent strength was important and,yes, it's very good. I doubt a better product exists. Very highly recommended. Well done Guys n' Gals!!!

So easy to use, and such a good price. There was more clay that I had expected- was able to make lots of personalised tree ornaments. Would buy again!

I made the mistake of not checking the weight I was buying assuming it was what we'd bought before. 500g cost more than 1kg of the same product from Hobbycraft! Very disappointed. Product itself is great.

I expected it to be filled with clay , not packs of clay

This company has the best air dry clay by far. It works soooo well. This stuff is super durable and lasts forever if stored properly. It’s not messy and it’s easy to work with. I love that it dries slowly and can bend some of my creations when it’s not fully dry. It stays soft, but keeps its shape and then fully hardens after a full 24 hours. It almost looks like plaster when dried, and is whitish in appearance. Definitely a fun thing to have for crafts and projects!
