Yes. They have an internal metatarsal built into the boot. It is the fast impact gel that hardens instantly when the top of your foot is struck and goes back to flexible gel after some time to relax. It has the metguard tag on the side of the boot that shows it meets metatarsal requirements. The first two days that you wear these boots the break-in is pretty sore but after break-in these have been a tough, lightweight, comfortable boot.

No idea...good for osha and msha

Composite toe is made of kevlar, carbon fiber, plastic or fiberglass- it is more comfortable in my opinion and becoming the industry norm, steel toes(made of steel) are usually more narrow and an electrical conductor instead of insulator

if you need a wide shoe . buy it wide because these boots don't run wide
