After enjoying the Whitesilk retinal, I purchased this out of curiosity. The texture of the cream’s very similar to their excellent retinal product.Since I was already using the retinal, my wife grabbed this to try. She was interested in the tranexamic acid - an ingredient known to be highly effective for battling pigmentation - and also the popular Volufiline for its touted skin plumping & lifting abilities.This is an unscented gel-cream night product, that spreads easily and disappears into clean, damp skin. She’s using it 3 nights a week with no irritation or breakouts.Already the sun mark that bothers her the most is beginning to fade. She’s definitely interested in trying a second tube to how it progresses. These types of products take 90 days to real results, so patience & persistence are key.As it contains retinal, be sure to wear SPF during the day.

After a month of daily use, morning and night, I haven't seen any benefits to this cream. It feels good to apply in the moment, and in the short term it does feel like the skin is more hydrated, plump and soft, however this quickly reverts once it is washed off.The skin is quite gentle, I didn't notice any irritation, even in sensitive areas. It spreads well on the skin, although it is a little greasy, and the absorption isn't the best, it tends to remain on the outer layer as a coating.I recommend cleansing your skin thoroughly prior to application, as it doesn't seem breathable.

I have to say, the Whitesilk Volufiline serum is one of the best skincare products I've ever used to date.The serum comes in a boxed plastic tube, the end of which is covered with a seal for freshness and to ensure the products arrives in perfect condition without leaks.This is the first time I've tried a tranexamic acid product as I usually go for hydraulic acid, however I'm now converted to tranexamic acid.The serum is orange in colour and has a slight fragrance which is a bit hard to describe. It's quite creamy in texture. It absorbs into my skin beautifully, leaving it feeling super smooth and looking glowing. I find for best results I need to follow with a moisturiser. Once moisturised, my skin looks and feels fabulous (to me anyway). I use it morning and night.Results from beauty products vary wildly, and what works great for some may not work at all for others. It's very much a matter of trial and error and trying different things to see what works best. For me, this product works brilliantly. I'm fortunate as in I don't have much in the way of fine lines and wrinkles, but that said, I'm delighted with the way the Whitesilk Volufiline makes my skin look and feel. Very, very happy with this serum.
