These dehydrated pineapple slices are not very good at all. They have the rind on them and the pineapple is not cored, that I could look past, not that big of a deal. They smelled awful though, and they tasted the way my dog’s treats smell. I didn’t eat them because they tasted so bad. My dog on the other hand? I broke them up into tiny pieces and used it as a meal toppper for her and she absolutely loved them! So while I wouldn’t rate them highly for human consumption, definitely worth 4 stars for pet consumption though. I even tried to get my daughter’s boyfriend to try them and he’ll eat just about anything, even he thought they were better suited for dog treats.As a suggestion if you prefer them to be a bit crunchy and not a chewy snack, store them in the refrigerator prior to eating.

It's mini dried pineapple... It smells a bit candied but not bad. Can be added to any beverages but with it being dried that may effect the taste. Would be great with hot teas to mix up some flavors. Can be ate but has a bit of a tang to it and a lot of chewyness lol. The package size of nearly 9 ounces doesn't seem like a lot but it is easily 100 slices, so you get your monies worth if you don't want to do the work of dehydration.

I was a little surprised to see that they were actual whole slices of pineapple, core and all. Usually you get rings. It’s nice to see the whole fruit used and even the core was edible. These are a bit crispy vs chewy like the dried fruit. There was a lot more that expected so I appreciate that value. The only downside I would rate is the packaging. It’s a little difficult to reseal once opened since it’s an awkward shape. Other than that this is a great product and good to have on hand in your emergency food storage.
