Easy to break up for training
I've been wanting to try PureBites for a while, but they're a relatively expensive treat. Combining the treat with functional ingredients that serve a purpose makes the cost seem justifiable. I tried the Skin and Coat formula. If these were to replace the salmon oil supplements I currently give my dog, then the treats are actually reasonably priced. Take into consideration that a similar volume of freeze dried treats from PureBites is pretty much the same price and the 'supplement' treats seem like a better value. My dog goes crazy for most freeze dried chicken and beef treats, but she wasn't as excited about these. She's super food motivated, so anything short of knocking me over to get them is worth noting. Maybe it's a texture thing or just because they're new and smell different. I won't dock them a star because she still took them with enthusiasm, but a pickier dog may do otherwise. The treats aren't hard freeze dried treats, but they're soft and easy to break up. For that reason, they're perfect for splitting up for training. I can get a good four rewards out of a single treat, so the four treats she's supposed to take based on her weight become 16 rewards. If your dog is picky and loves the taste of these, these would be perfect for crumbling on top of their regular food as a topper.Overall, I'd give these another try, but might try a different formulation (Hip and Joint maybe) to see if they're more palatable for her.

Quality treats that my dog really enjoys
My dog has really enjoyed these treats every single time I’ve offered her one. I am happy to give her these treats that are not just tasty, but also sourced and made with quality ingredients here in the US. I like knowing that the five ingredients in the Skin & Coat formula are healthy and human grade. I like that I can use this product as an occasional reward for my dog and that it is not made with junk or made with fillers. I’ve gotten a lot more particular about what I feed my pet, and this freeze dried chicken treat checks all the boxes. It is not overpackaged, either, so that is more eco-friendly.The only downside of this product is that there’s not a whole lot of it. If I didn’t use this product sparingly, it would get used very quickly. Other than that, I would recommend this treat to all dog parents.

My dogs wish I could afford a never ending supply
My goodness, my dogs have had freeze dried food and treats before, but they have never gotten nearly as excited as they did and still do for these! They absolutely love them. As the decision making human, I love that there are 5 ingredients total (chicken, carrots, salmon, rosemary extract, and biotin ((for healthy skin and coat, digestion, etc)), and that they don't come completely crumbled into dust like some other freeze dried products do. They are soft balls that you can easily break up for multiple treats or food toppers. They are pricey, with one 35 lb dog and one 75 lb I would guess I'd get through a solid week if I gave them as recommended. They do fall in line with other similar products, though, that's just what you pay for the good stuff.Overall, if these are in your budget and you want some happy and healthy puppers, I highly recommend!

treats with benefits
These PureBites freeze dried treats were easy to break apart into quarters to place into an enrichment toy for my dog. I found the round pieces to be soft and spongy and they did create crumbs when broken. As they crumble easily, the treats could also be used as a food topper. The treats are about the size of a quarter and larger than most of the freeze dried treats that I typically buy. I like that these treats include salmon and biotin to improve skin and coat health. These are a nice change from the usual freeze dried food and treats I usually buy and will look into trying a different variation next time.

Dog wasn't a fan
My dog is the type to pretty much eat any treat you give her. She isn't picky. For some reason, she just really didn't like these at all

My dog doesn’t like these treats.
My dog is somewhat finicky and not easily bribed by treats. He doesn’t like these at all, and will leave one on the floor until it gets stepped on, or attracts ants. That’s too bad because these seem to be made from healthy ingredients. On the other hand, this product is pricey. Did you know that $4.16 an ounce comes to $66.61 per pound? These are packed in a crinkly plastic bag, and the expiration date is several years in the future. The bag is supposedly recyclable if you have plastic bag recycling in your area. The labels are in French and English.

Healthy Treat, Dog Loves It
This is my first experience with a freeze dried treat. They are nugget sized treats that I cut into quarters for hiding in a snuffle mat. The treats are a little crumbly and fiberous due to the freeze drying process. My dog loves them! She excitedly hunted them all down from her mat, and then kept searching for extras. Ingredients and sources are clearly listed on the package, as well as a serving size guideline based on weight. Checks all the boxes, great treat and I would recommend.

You don't get many, but they're good
My dog likes these treats, and the ingredients seem good for my dog! You get very few in a bag though, and for the price, I'd expect a bit more. They're also a bit big too, as far as single treats go, so not great for training or small dogs.
