why pay more? this is a well-designed tool
why do we need this many seam rippers? well, i do tend to use them a lot because i do a lot of garment, costume, and decor sewing and there's always a need to rip something out. with this collection, i can stash a seam ripper just about anywhere. plus i like to have a stash because occasionally i teach sewing and it's a nice gift for a novice. I've bought expensive fiskar's seam rippers (which i love), but these are a good value and work just as well.

Plenty of handy seam rippers!
I like this seam ripper assortment! It's got 4 larger ones with comfortable handles; 4 smaller ones that work well with more delicate fabrics and threads, and 1 scalpel version that is super-sharp. All have protective covers.I like having 9! I can put 3 in my sewing drawer, and distribute the rest to places where I find them handy. Win!I do like to recycle parts of clothing when possible, like zippers, buttons, etc. These make such things really easy to remove for additional projects.

Didn’t meet my needs, unfortunately
I hate to leave a negative review, but I returned this and ordered another similar looking pack.Unlike other reviewers, I didn’t notice any problems with the sharpness of the blade. It seemed more or less sharp enough for me. I did agree with the other reviewers that the needle point seemed too thick to be useful. On the plus side, the price is low, and the Amazon return was easy and went without a hitch.

9 for the price of 1
I bought a set of these a few years ago and used them as stocking stuffers. Somehow I can never find one when I need one, so when my son-in-law asked for one to remove the tags in his clothes, I bought another set. I gave him one and now have 7 more to put in places I can find one when needed. And the super sharp one I'll keep in a safe place. Delivery was very quick and all 9 cost the same as buying one at the store.

Great set of Rippers!
Great Value! These may not be as heavy duty as a name brand ripper, but for the price, not sure what there is to complain about. The quality of the plastic was better than I expected, after reading the other negative review on these. Yes, there were small extrusion points on the bottom of a couple of them, but not so sharp as to cut my hand. On these I used a nail file, and sanded it smooth, just to make it more comfortable. I am quite happy with these, and would not hesitate to purchase again!

Good value, nice & sharp
My comfort grip ripper has started losing its sharpness & I kept misplacing it. I also was needing to rip out several sections of free motion quilting on a large quilt & some of my stitches were really short & difficult to slide my blade under. This is a good value & they're all really sharp. The small ones are perfect for those short stitches when piecing.

Just as good as the name brand at 1/10th the price.
Same product as sold as that name brand seam ripper at 1/10th the price. I especially like the surgical seam blade. Why buy one seam ripper when you can get eight plus the knife, instead. These seam rippers are just as good, and you'll get a lifetime supply

Just the right amount
I was always looking for one whenever I had labels to remove. Now I have a large set and was able to spread them around to places in the house where I thought would be handy. The set has multiple sizes which are nice for on the go. I wish that there were 2 of the razor sharp rippers instead of one as this is very handy for removing stitches in heavy-duty tarps.
