HomadeSauce Chili 12 Oz (Pack of 2)

This is the recipe I know and love. It was wrapped very securely and the jars were intact upon arrival!

This chili tastes like HomeMade. It's very good especially with pot roast.

I have been buying this brand of chili sauce since the 1980’s. It is, in my opinion, the absolute best, EVER! I only wish there were coupons or lower prices per jar.THEE BEST!

I purchased this thick and delicious chili sauce regularly when I lived in Los Angeles in the 1970 and 80s. It was readily available in the super market. I've always loved its distinctive round glass jar, too. When I moved to Georgia in 1990 I could no longer find it. I forgot about it until I recently saw it in a little grocery store here in Pennsylvania. But it is not stocked regularly, so I was glad to find it here on Amazon. I do think the Amazon offering is overpriced, however.

I had a jar of this and really liked it and was expecting it to be thr same. But the recipe has changed. I didn't like this one.

I have used Homade sauce for many years. I just found out that my sister also used to buy it. Between us, we discovered that none of the local markets provided Homade anymore. In the case of Luckys/Savmart, the change of distributor is the claim why they no longer stock the product.I bought one 2-pack for my sister as a gag Christmas gift and another 2-pack for myself as I was down to the dregs on my last bottle. It turned out that the gag gift was really appreciated.Homade makes a good topping for meatloaf and as an ingredient in any recipe calling for a small portion of tomato sauce. I have always called it "chunky ketchup".I was sorry it was no longer on my grocer's shelf and was happy to find it online.

Our family uses it in cooking, and we send it to family that has moved away...always a great sauce!

Such good stuff! Many uses but one we love - Put it in a turkey meatloaf with just an egg, bread crumbs, diced red onion and spices to taste. Yummmmm!
