Best investment I ever made! This is a game changer for content creators. It does have a little lag but it still a great product! 10/10

I recently purchased this with high hopes of improving my content creation. While the concept of using the rear camera for selfies and vlogs is innovative, my experience with the product has been far from smooth, especially due to a severe delay when connected via wire.The magnetic phone holder clip mount is a great feature, as it securely holds the phone in place, allowing for easy adjustment. The monitor screen is also a nice touch, providing a larger, clearer view than the phone’s small display. It's compatible with iPhones, which worked well in terms of ease of connection and flexibility for my device. However, the main problem I encountered was the significant lag when the device was connected via wire. Upon connecting my phone to the monitor, the screen displayed a severe delay in real-time actions. Whether I was adjusting my frame, switching between apps, or even moving my phone, there was a noticeable and frustrating lag. This delay made it extremely difficult to keep up with the recording process, as I could no longer rely on real-time feedback to see myself or interact with viewers.The lag was particularly concerning when trying to do fast-paced content such as TikTok videos, where precise timing and fluid motion are essential. The wire connection, which is usually meant to provide more stability than wireless setups, somehow exacerbated the issue. The delay was long enough to disrupt the flow of my content and make it nearly impossible to maintain a natural pace.While the monitor itself does provide a clear display once the lag subsides, the severe delay undermines its utility for live streaming or vlogging.

The concept of this device is great. However, the very long delay when taking videos makes this device unusable for videos. The delay starts with about a 15 second delay and then as you’re filming the delay increases; the delay gets longer than 30 seconds. It’s impossible to use this if you want to see what you’re filming in real time.I’d give this device a 5 Star if the sole purpose is for photos. There is no delay when watching the screen mirror in real time to take photos. This is the only reason I am keeping the device. You can see the screen in real time as you are preparing to take a photo.I do love that you can choose to keep the device magnetically attached to your phone or you can remove it. If I’m taking a photo farther away I can just hold it and have a closer view.I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It was very easy to connect the device and also very easy to attach to my phone. It has a very strong magnet and holds the screen mirror securely on my phone. I like that the screen mirror is easy to move up and down; with some tripods you need to move the screen mirror high up on the phone.I give this device a 5 star for photo purposes and I give it a 0 star for video purposes.

This isn’t like a Bluetooth device where you turn on the device and it just automatically connects to your phone. Having to connect to the selfie monitor’s wifi and then having to screen share from my phone to the monitor just felt like it took a little bit too long. In the grand scheme of things it’s not THAT long but I’m just looking for a quicker solution.Also, it’s noted to not work with 4K, which I was aware of before purchasing. I feel like it works with 4K recording just enough for you to frame yourself. What happens is, the longer you are recording a clip, the more the playback on the selfie monitor starts to lag. The moment you stop recording, there’s minimal lag and you can see yourself moving in almost real time.Most of the time I used it, I didn’t put it on the camera mount that it came with. Sometimes I would have the screen in my hand while testing it, and I noticed that it would get hot pretty quickly. Doesn’t feel like a good sign of quality to me when a device starts to run hot so quickly.In the end, I decided to return this screen. Using the back camera on my phone is a priority and this is selfie monitor is an easy fix IF you’re okay with a few cons. I just thought the cons listed were a deal breaker for me personally. I’d still recommend trying it out if you have the option to return it for free.

It’s also very clear and doesn’t distort the image, which is important when lining up your shots.This is such a handy tool for anyone who loves taking high-quality photos or videos with their back camera. I’m really impressed with how useful it is, and I highly recommend it to other iPhone users!

Bought this in August of 2024. Didn’t really use it much but now we notice it has a very bad delay in viewing on the monitor. It can range from 2 seconds to maybe ten seconds at a time. Not worth it, connection seems to be bad or very faulty. Maybe in the future if they improve.
